Years of happy boxer with Rachel Ray dog food
My boxer has been enjoying the Rachel Ray Nutrish dog food for 7+ years. The beef or salmon flavors are his favorite. He prefers the Rachel Ray food over the Blue Buffalo brand that we tried in the past. I like the healthy ingredients for him in this food without a bunch of the bad stuff. I also like that my purchases are helping shelter dogs. The price makes it easier for me to provide good food for my boy that I know is good for him and he enjoys eating. I like that this brand is readily available at most grocery stores. The limited ingredient and grain free foods are also yummy to my boxer so we switch it up from time to time to keep him interested. He has never had any stomach issues from any of the Rachel Ray dog foods, which makes us both happy. I recommend this dog food to anyone who wants to give their pup good quality food, give back to shelter dogs, and all at an affordable price.

In this NC heat wave, the glue is melting ?!?
Two different deliveries of RR food ( one wrong for dog and one for cat) when i opened the box, bags were not sealed so either the glue is melting or evaporatingThe last 2 bags I opened the box with open bags and food (oil from) spilled & soiled the box

My dogs really enjoy this food. First of all I have two very different dogs, an 80lb pitbull and a 20lb mini pin/Chihuahua mix. They both love this food.If you are on the fence about a dog food,like I was, maybe this will sway you in the right direction.I would love to have an unlimited budget for them, but like most people. We all have a limit, I really can’t justify those $60+ bags plus the wet dog food, treats, grooming.If you’re looking for an affordable, good for your dog, food. This is it.The actual food is pretty small kibble, so keep that in mind if you’re switching over from a bigger kibble. My dog got so excited she took a couple bigger bites, than she was to. Obviously if you’re dog is a bit smarter, this isn’t an issue. But if you have a hungry puppy,like me, and you’re switching from large to small kibble, it’s something to take note of the first time you feed them.My only reasons for a 4star rating would be the bags are not resealable. This might be an issue for some but it’s worth mentioning in case you don’t own some sort of dog food containers.

Dog food mess.
Not happy with my dog food delivery this time. The dog food bag was torn open inside the box. The box was not damaged which means the bag was damaged before it was put in the box. When I opened the box dog food went all over my kitchen floor. Not a happy camper.

Excellent Flavor and Quality
My four year old great dane had been eating Purina One for over a year. I noticed she wasn’t eating as much, her stools became runny and she started to lose weight. She still had an appetite as she would eat treats and wet dog food. I ordered 5-6 pnd bags of Rachel Ray, Blue Buffalo and Hi Pro Purina. She liked the Blue but not the Purina. However when I put out the first Rachel Ray she had been outside. When she came in it was just like the old TV commercials, as soon as she smelled it she went running for it. She has put on all her weight, her stools are once again firm, and do not have a powerful smell which they had before.

For many years, our 13yr old cats are crappy MM dry food. We would find cat vomit on the floor a few times per week. 5 years ago we switched to Rachael Ray’s dry food line our cats love it!!! All the flavors as well. No more vomit anywhere ever! Thank you RR for making a good, safe, natural ingredient product to keep our babies happy & healthy. Unfortunately I can’t get them to eat the wet food everyday, we add it to the weekly rotation of multiple brands/flavors. Cats are fussy, aren’t they!

I have 3 dogs: A golden lab, a terrier, and a pit bull.My lab and terrier love this dog food.I feed my pit bull another brand because she has an allergy problem with some dog foods.I have tested her by feeding her a little of this food and found she has no negative reaction. Will be starting her on this brand after I ease her into the change of food.

Read Those Ingredients!!! Better than IAMS
I was shocked to read the ingredients of IAMS dog food, as I had felt assured that I was buying a quality product. Meat was not the first ingredient and there was far more filler than substance in the ingredient list. I went on a hunt for something that was healthy without costing an arm and a leg. This product had the best ingredient list at the store where I was, WalMart, which had a large selection. However, I have since found an even cleaner ingredient list by using Costco’s Nature’s Domain brand, which doesn’t include any grains as an ingredient at all. Lots of dogs can tolerate and do well with grain as an ingredient, so if your dog is one of them this is TONS better than most of what is traditionally available. My dog however has some funky skin itchiness that we think will clear up with a diet without any allergen irritants, of which corn is a noteable one. I am still a huge fan of this dog food though, because it is better than the vast majority and quite reasonably priced.

How can I comment on flavor? I haven’t tasted it. But Honey likes it and eats every bite, so that’s what matters and it tastes good enough to eat! This is a mid priced food. The first ingredient is real chicken, and there’s real vegetables. It’s not grain free, which my Vet said is not a good idea. It’s the fad. I’m not buying it (just like Gluten free is not a healthier food unless you’re allergic to wheat, which is not common. It’s just more expensive, and grain free is also more expensive and has no real benefit.) I recommend this food but can’t find it in stores. It WAS there, but not anymore, and changing foods is not the best idea, so thank you Amazon.

Beings this is for my cat I cannot speak on the taste of it. That said, she’s always had a good shiny coat. The vet seems to think she is healthy so I think I’ll keep her on it for now, until there’s a reason not to.

One of my cat’s favorite but some bags not sealed properly
My cats have two dry foods readily available but seem to prefer this one as it seams to disappear faster. I received a bag that was not completely sealed and it was ineligible to return so I was sent a replacement which was also not completely sealed. I was provided a refund but was afraid to get another replacement from Amazon due to safety concerns. I cancelled my auto delivery because of the sealing issues, but intend to keep purchasing elsewhere.

My cat goes crazy every time he hears me reach for this bag. One thing I’ve noticed is that the pieces of cat food seem to be getting smaller and smaller, which I don’t like. That just means my cat is going to gobble it down faster., And that means it’s going to come back up about an hour later from eating too fast. I had to buy one of those puzzle dishes, and fortunately that helps. That being said, my cat loves this food. Just wish the pieces were a little bigger.

my pet food is coming damaged, sometimes all over the packing box, other times there were holes in the bags and on one occasion the pet food and bag were all wet. I have cut back on my pet food order to just one bag this month to see if things will change after my calling in a complaint. That bag arrived with a hole in the back of it.I am on the fence now not sure I will be ordering pet food going forward 🙁 Ordering from Amazon has been convenient but not over the past few months. my deliveries used to be well packaged sometimes they were all in one box making it very heavy but I would rather deal with weight over damaged products that are unusable. It is hard to put half of the pet food back in the bags when it is a mix of various dog and cat food that are all over the shipping container.Again this is a great product and my pets (dogs and cat) love the flavors but the shipping process needs to be modified to ensure the customer receives usable product.

My cats have very sensitive stomachs and were prescribed extremely expensive food by the vet. I was researching and found this Rachael Ray food for indoor cats and showed the vet who said to try it. I was pleasantly surprised by the way that they took right to it and have not had any issues.I enjoy that it is not a seafood flavor with a strong scent as we are able to keep it sealed in our pantry and have no odor. The bags come quickly with S&S and last a long time for the price.So glad we found this and can give it to our furbabies!

I switched to this because there is only one chicken ingredient on in it, and it’s pretty far down the list. My dog doesn’t have allergies, but my SO’s does to chicken so I felt this would be a decent option so if the allergic one got into it, it wouldn’t be so bad for him. My 5 year old samoyed likes the taste and his coat is beautiful as ever. I’ve had no problems at all with it at all. Even his stools seem a little smaller. The allergic dog has grabbed a few kibbles and suffered no harm, but we are pretty careful not to leave any uneaten food down for the little canine vacuum cleaner so I can’t say better than that.

I have wanted to try this food for a while, but could not locate it in our small town. I was happy to find it here at Amazon AND with a coupon available. On receipt, the first thing I noticed was that the pieces of this Nutrish Natural Dry Cat food are very small, which makes it easier for our cats to eat. They saw me opening a new bag of food and ran right over to check it out. The first time they tried it, they liked it quite well, probably because it was something different. However, the next time and after that, they weren’t as excited and they don’t really love how it tastes. They will eat it, eventually. I do notice our cat that tends to get hair balls gets them less often. We have another cat that has digestion issues and I do feel like this is helping that issue to an extent as well. So I will likely continue buying this food. In fact it’s time to resupply now, so I will try another flavor to see if they like it better, maybe

Sadly, my cats are older and finicky – they don’t eat it very well.
My 2 senior cats liked the Rachel Ray dry cat foods initially, but they eventually lost interest in them. I thought the smaller size of the kibble would be easier for them to chew. I’ve tried several of the Rachel Ray dry cat food flavors, and I’ve even tried rotating the flavors to give my spoiled and picky cats some variety.As my cats decline to eat it, rather than waste it, I started feeding it to the stray cats that come around regularly – and pray I don’t irritate my neighbors in the process. They stray cats are hungry, they eat it up, and are appreciative of whatever they are given!

Noce coat on our dog
Our dog is a big girl and eats 3 cups of food a day – we also have horses, alpacas and a cat so we can not afford to pay $3.00 or $4.00 per lb for dog food. However we don’t feed any of our guys junk – our dogs coat is super shiny and her skin healthy – not flaky or itchy. As long as the food formula stays the same and she has energy and looks great we will continue to use this dog food. Our cat gets the nutrish kibble too.

My cats seem to like it well enough
My cats seem to like it well enough. However it IS healthier so they don’t absolutely love it. My cats eat two meals a day with a few crunchies in between meals. I like to take a pate style soft food that they DO like, add a little bit of water and then mix it with a small portion of of this healthy hard food. So they get a little bit of what they want as well as a good portion of what they need, and some water as well.

Horrible delivery
This product was left in the middle of my driveway in the downpour of rain we received on Sunday. My covered front porch was a mere fifteen feet away. Im happy with the product, but the delivery got a fat F. Very unhappy with the delivery

I arrived home to see this massive box waiting for me at my door. What is it?
As I looked at it from my vehicle, I could not recall ordering something so big recently. I was so excited to see what new item had arrived!I skipped to my door anticipating what today’s Amazon haul could be. The box was dead weight, I could not just pick up up and carry it inside. I had to set my keys and my purse down, to get a good hold on the box. I grunted and groaned while I pulled my new “treasure” into my entrance. I made such a scene that my dog joined in on the investigation! He walked around the box, sniffing, tail wagging, he seemed as as excited as I was.I pulled the “Amazon Ribbon of Happiness” that seals all my favorite deliveries, and freed my new purchase. While I was unfolding the box flaps, my dog became so excited that I could hardly keep him from climbing into the box. I turned around, looked at him and firmly said “Sit. Stay. Wait.” Moose, ever the good boy, sadly followed my command.I spun around to seize the moment of calm, and reached in to pull out and inspect my bounty.When I pulled out the top end of the bag, Moose pounced on the bag claiming it as his. And he was right, it was his favorite food. He has been eating this food since he switched to adult food about 2 years ago. He will not eat anything else. I have two Rat Terriers. I had been feeding them a different brand (more expensive) but then the price went up and the size went down, and to be honest they were never that enthused about eating. I decided to look for something more economical. I saw this, read the reviews, saw the reasonable price and decided to try it. I am always worried that changing food will mess with their digestion (poop), but so far so good. I haven’t noticed a real difference in their stool. I do notice that they seem to like it though and are finishing their bowls. So I will stick with this for now and see how it goes.

Rachel Ray has the meat!
Ever since we added Tucker to our family, we switched to cat food that was darker and meat was listed as the first ingredient! Male cat health is different than females so to protect Tucker from getting crystals in his urine, we knew his nutritional needs were taken care of with Rachel Ray’s cat food line! I also noticed that Luna and Missy rarely vomited and ALL three cats are 7 years old, healthy and on target for the perfect weight! Five years later and still enjoying the same cat food.Two years ago I had trouble finding this cat food at the local Target and Walmart and didn’t want to pay higher prices at pet stores so I have been ordering their food from Amazon where it’s always in stock. I switch flavors from time to time but I stay with Rachel Ray because she always has MEAT as the first ingredient!

Going to give it a whirl
We have bought this food before. We went elsewhere for a specific reason. We have five cats and it’s not great buying 14lb bags of food for that many cats, especially when three of them are huge and act like pac man.Anyway, main focus is we need our cats to be healthy. So we are switching slowly away from the food we have now and back to this one. If you read the ingredients it is grain free and that is important. Compare it to the many other food types available of a similar quality and you see the price is actually not bad at all. That is a bit of a focus for us because, you know, five cats.But I think we will be able to stick with this one. All five cats like it. So long as their health remains good I think we will keep this one.UpdatingI notice the price has increased but our cats health is slightly improved just by having this. One of our cats had developed a rash on her skin. We had no idea what it was but as we moved to this food it has improved. Sticking with this from now on

This food has changed my dogs life !!
I wish I would have taken before & after pics ! Our dog had really bad looking skin , it was dry & scaly all over her body. The vet said it was common with her color & breed ( fawn doberman ) & gave us some fish oil to give her every day . Basically she was just gonna have this problem & try to help with giving her the fish oil. The fish oil didn’t help. One day on my way home from work I saw a dog exactly like ours & I decided to stop . While I was there I asked them if their dog had any problems with his skin & she said YES we did until we started feeding him this food. I didn’t believe it would help but was hoping it would. I went home & ordered it right away . It has been a couple of months now & her skin is almost all better !! I am so thankful for this product . I was feeding her pedigree . Hopefully this may help some other family / dog out there 🙂

Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Brown Rice Dry Cat Food
I live in the country where the wildlife lives and rejected pet cats (and dogs) are dumped by uncaring owners. I feed all of them every night in multiple bowls which includes Rachael Ray’s Nutrish Chicken & Brown Rice. The deer get special food just for them until Spring when they can find the plant based foods they need.The ingredients contain vegetables which are good for the wildlife. Just ok for the roaming 4-5 cats but better than they would find without help. Cats don’t need vegetables.No idea how the kibble tastes and will never know…. The chicken & brown rice kibble doesn’t have an unpleasant smell but the other RR variety with lentils smells horrible.

Been buying Nutrish for about a year now and my dog loves it! We previously had Blue Buffalo and I think she got burnt out. Now she loves meal time and her coat is so shiny and soft. Happy with the quality!

I don’t like the smell but our cats do and its their food so their opinion is what matters. We’ve been buying it for years. I have no way to test the food other than the cats like it and eat it and have not gained weight or exhibited issues while on this food.

Good to mix with regular food
Our dog gets bored with his regular food, and this is a very reasonably priced quality food to mix. He likes the smell and flavor, rejuvenating his desire to eat. The kibble size is also to his liking, even though he is a large dog (90 lbs.), the smaller kibble is appetizing. Also, our dog has never gotten diarrhea using this brand as a mix, unlike what we have experienced in the past with other dog food products.

I picked this up one time in the store when I messed up my delivery and was about to run out. They didn’t have the usual but this looked reasonably priced. I was putting this is one side of her bowl and tne old stuff on the other side and she always went for this first so I just finished the transition over to this food and have bought it 11 times now. Healthy active six year old lab. Would recommend.

Great cat food, it’s my go to. Wish it were cheaper or there were better prices for bigger size bags. There’s like a 28 pound bag i believe it is for the dog food version of this at a bulk price, but the largest sold for cats is the 14 pound.

Hmmm.
So at first I was so pleased to find this. It’s a great price for this brand. My cats love it, and they both seem to have shinier and softer coats when they eat it.But…. I recently read an article listing brands of pet food known to cause a heart condition in pets, and the Nutrish brand is mentioned. Now, admittedly, I only read that one article. I plan to do a lot more research on it before I’d stand behind it as fact. But I’m mentioning it here just in case you want to do your own research. It would be a big shame if it turns out to be true.

Good dog food..
I’m not going to say this is the best food on the market, but I do like it alot. My dog loves it. Ive had no problems such as gas, vomitting, or poop issues. Ive used pricier brands that seemed TOO natural in what they contained, and they did cause loose stools or gas, no matter how they were introduced. Cheaper I’d never go, but I feel that that NUTRISH beef/brown rice is a great option if you are on a budget. I consider it to be on the higher end of the affordable food options. I am judging that by the ingredients, kibble size, and experience with it, as well as how my dogs have done with it. I’d pay more for this food, but am grateful that its priced like cheap brands of dog foods that contain crap, like corn as one of the 1st two ingredients. This product is not advertising what it is not. I did notice that when I tried the chicken for variation, my pup would pass gas and eat more than usual, two major negatives- so back to beef+rice it is. We own a 6lb chihuahua who loves his food and has been on this since he was 12 weeks. We got a baby chow chow who is now 5 months and doing wonderfully on it as well. I add fish oil or olive oil to their food once a week as well. I’d like if it were available in more places locally, but online at a discounted rate with free shipping works. Would recommend. FYI: That I know of, Nutrish is sold locally at Stop&Shop, Walmart, and Duane Reade if youre in NY.

Not crazy about all the ingredients but for the most part, this is a good dog food so far.
I alternate dog food for my big guys. Buying in bulk with amazon is so wonderful – no lugging giant bags from store to car, car to garage, etc. This is awesome. For the price, you can’t beat it. So 5 starts for Amazon’s price, but 4 stars for the ingredients. Don’t like the “meals” or soybean, but can’t afford the other super costly stuff. Tried BJ’s brand dog food at first which they devoured, then something in the recipe changed. They like this brand for the most part. I alternate with the Zero grain. I like the other ingredients which are healthy – okay, maybe not the beet pulp esp if it’s GMO beets, but we try to supplement like I said with other healthier choices. Dogs are doing great, coats are healthy, skin is healthy, teeth are in great shape after 3 years of this stuff. I’d love to be able to afford the fancy “organic” brands but honestly, we don’t always eat organic. The quantity of dog food the dogs eat must also be taken into consideration as well.

Cat doesn’t throw up as much
We switched to this from a cheaper lower quality food and my cat stopped throwing up as much. He is staying at a healthy weight despite free feeding. He seems to eat less of it as well making it last longer than the cheaper food was so it’s a really great trade off and ended up costing us about the same as his cheaper food in the long run.

I generally don’t trust Rachel Ray products, or dogfood that is available in Walmart, for being high quality. But I checked Nutrish on dogfoodadvisor.com, and it was rated at 4 stars, which was just as good as my more expensive Taste of the Wild.

Small pellets
The bag is heavier than other brands so it has less air blown into the nuggets and is more dense. Assuming the weight is not just from byproducts, I would think this is a better value. The nuggets are about 1/2” in diameter and good for small dogs. It is a little small for large dogs.

My cat is pretty picky (she won’t even eat certain types of fish and is the first cat I’ve ever met who doesn’t jump at canned food) but she likes this dry food so that’s what we give her! It doesn’t smell bad and she seems content with it. The pellets are also very small which I think might be better than larger pieces of kibble for her.

London LIKED IT!
This isn’t London’s, my dog, normal food, so I was a bit worried he wouldn’t want to eat it and that it may make his tummy weird. I had a mishap with my scheduled food for him, so I got something or nothing. I put it in his bowl with a little of his normal food to mix with (the last of it) and he didn’t seem to mind at all! The next day, he ate just as usual! Whew!

Cats coats felt silky
First time trying Rachel Ray for cats and I have to say after 2wks my cats coats felt like silk no joke. My cats will occasionally spit up food they just ate but none of that once I switched over to Rachel Ray for cats.

I don’t have a complaint on the quality. Our dog seemed to like this flavor well enough for the first two bags but now he will no longer touch his dish if we feed him this flavor. I have been feeding my dog, yes, my dog, this brand for years because it works best with his stomach. We have went through every flavor trying to find what makes him the happiest and keeps him healthy and satisfied. We now mix this cat food with this brands puppy food and he loves it. He is not a good chewer, he just swallows without chewing enough. The pup and cat food are tiny kibbles and he likes that a lot. The smells is also really light. This same brands beef flavored dog food is very strong and makes the house smell horrible, this doesn’t do that. I will keep buying this until he decides it is time for a switch.

Dogs love but DON’T AUTOSHIP
I have 5 dogs, large and small and they all like this food. Unfortunately I started an autoship and now can’t find any way to cancel the whole subscription. I can skip weeks but I want it totally cancelled and can’t find any way to do that. The boxes are put on my front porch and if I’m not home, the dog food attracts bugs. The box I opened today had a slew of big ants around and in the bag so I’m better off getting it from the store even though costs more and not as convenient.

My cats love this food. I think the most notable thing is the small kibble. One of my cats has trouble crunchy the kibble but this is small enough he doesn’t have an issue. It smells better than other cat food I’ve gotten and I feel comfortable with the ingredients (I’m no expert) and the price.

“You are what you eat,” has always been a silly saying but if it means “your health is determined by what you eat,” then this dog food is medicine.For years my dogs were fed Purina’s Beneful. It’s okay dog food, but if you’re looking to get your dog off of wheat based foods then the Rachel Ray’s Delish is a choice your pets will love.My 13 year old recently started having mobility problems that put me in tears. On the worst day I decided to change and improve his diet. In recent years he started getting dry skin that was so itchy, he’d chew himself raw.I decided to make homemade wet dog food out of human food grade meats and vegetables, and got Rachel Ray’s Delish as their dry source of food. It’s been a week and a half since this change and most of what ailed him has disappeared.He had tight muscles and stiffness; when he would try to get up from laying down he would let out a whimper of pain, that went away by day 4. His dry and itchy skin went away within a week. All the biting and scratching he used to do is gone, and I have no doubt that he was suffering from food allergies from his old dog food. All the muscular dysfunction is from being an old dog, but he acts like he’s years younger than he was a week ago. Part of his new diet has been administering a homemade turmeric paste that I mix into their food, which can help everything related to arthritis. For example, when he would stand and try to scratch himself with one leg, he would get wobbly trying to balance himself on three legs. Now when he scratches, he stands solid like a tripod.Am I saying that all of these positive changes came from Rachel Ray’s dogfood, no I’m not, but I’m saying it’s definitely a part of the change that needed to happen. If you’re like me and have an old dog that you refuse to put under the knife at their old age, try the healing powers of nutrition. It’s far less invasive and can bring about change you wouldn’t expect to see.

Years of happy boxer with Rachel Ray dog food
My boxer has been enjoying the Rachel Ray Nutrish dog food for 7+ years. The beef or salmon flavors are his favorite. He prefers the Rachel Ray food over the Blue Buffalo brand that we tried in the past. I like the healthy ingredients for him in this food without a bunch of the bad stuff. I also like that my purchases are helping shelter dogs. The price makes it easier for me to provide good food for my boy that I know is good for him and he enjoys eating. I like that this brand is readily available at most grocery stores. The limited ingredient and grain free foods are also yummy to my boxer so we switch it up from time to time to keep him interested. He has never had any stomach issues from any of the Rachel Ray dog foods, which makes us both happy. I recommend this dog food to anyone who wants to give their pup good quality food, give back to shelter dogs, and all at an affordable price.
