What’s not to like?!
Seems very good for the price. I got this as a back up as I also have a more expensive one. But actually I think I prefer this cheaper one! They both seem to give similar readings, but if anything this one seems better as my more expensive one varies by about .3 every time I take the temperature, where as this one stays the same on that person, but does change when I move onto the next person so is definitely working well! I have 4 kids and with covid, I feel its important to check our temperatures before leaving the house.I’d definitely recommend this product if you need a contactless thermometer.

I’ve tested this between myself and my son from one forehead to the other and back and had near consistent readings every time on multiple occasions. This is a must have for any parent in my opinion. Makes it sooooo much easier and stops any upsets that the mouth and ear ones can cause.

Wenn man sich angewöhnt hat, dieses Teil richtig anzuwenden, ist es sehr zuverlässig. Im richtigen Abstand über der Nase vor die Stirn zu halten, wird man mit dem vibrieren des Gerätes auf die erfolgreiche Messung hingewiesen. Einzige kurze Fehler treten auf, wenn man das Messgerät plötzlich einer stärkeren Temperaturveränderung aussetzt. Wenn man es im gleichen Raum lagert und anwendet, ist es immer erfolgreich. Wenn man sieht, wie viele dieser Teile “unterwegs” sind, dann hat es sich seine Qualität herumgesprochen und bewährt! Meine Empfehlung!

I have been for several years a fan of Xiaomi. This product I bought and imported from China 11months ago at the start of the pandemic to enable easier temperature measurement. Used initially at the same time as our calibrated inner ear thermometers and readings consistently very similar. It means we can very quickly do a patient temperature check- also can be done prior to patient entering consulting room. Works well from babies to 98year olds. Also cuts down on plastic wastage of the ear covers.

Easy to use and accurate thermometer. Have in mind than forehead temperature is different from that measured in the armpit with digital termometers. Have to folow the instructions for accurate measurement.

Ich habe drei Stück gekauft (für mich und als Geschenk), und alle drei zeigen die gleiche Temperatur an – auch im Vergleich mit einem anderen gleichwertigen Termometer. Die Bedienung ist wirklich sehr simpel. Ca. 1-3 cm vor die Stirn halten, einmal kurz drücken und eine Sekunden später erhält man das Ergebnis. Das wird durch ein leichtes Vibrieren quitiert. Es ist somit ganz leise, sodass man auch bei schlafenden Kindern die Körpertemperatur messen kann, ohne dass man befürchten muss, dass diese durch ein Geräusch geweckt werden.Nebenbei bemerkt ist das Termometer auch optisch sehr schön und stylisch. Die weisse Anzeige ist ausgezeichnet bei jedem Lichtverhältnis ablesbar. Daher meiner Meinung nach sehr empfehlenswert.

Ho aspettato un po’ per recensirlo per vedere il reale funzionamento.Il termometro è molto semplice da usare e intuitivo. La misurazione è corretta, ho controllato con un normale termometro e pur misurando più volte, la temperatura non è cambiata. Comodo anche per la misurazione notturna. Preso principalmente per mia figlia, sono riuscita a monitorarla anche mente dormiva.Molto soddisfatta, consiglio l’acquisto. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Keep your head still!
We use this to measure the temperature of our choristers as they arrive for practice. They need to keep their heads still or temperature is not read. The overhead electric heating can also influence the reading so consider your surroundings when using. Otherwise great.

So far so good. At first it was difficult to figure out if you needed to hold it on. So instructions need to be a bit better. It gives a reading very quick after a quick press on the temp button. I would recommend it.

We are so pleased with this. We got it from a famous auction site as it was cheaper than Amazon (a rare thing)! We have a Braun in ear thermometer, too, but for our young grandson, this type is the easiest to use. I was worried about accuracy, but I had no need: this is with 0.1C of the Braun so far.The instruction sheet is in tiny text but the part that matters is only a few lines. We struggled a bit to remove the battery cover and needed a sharp blade to help, but managed without damaging it in any way. Because these infra-red thermometers don’t measure in quite the same way as a normal thermometer, taking each person’s baseline temperature is, it seems to me, very important, i.e. their measured temperature when they don’t have a fever. If this is unusually low (as my cousin’s always is), then this will need noting for future reference as a “fever” temperature for that person will be different from the norm. Also, it seems important to have a dry and clean forehead, i.e. no make-up or cosmetics or hair in the way. All this seems obvious, it’s true, but it does help to produce an accurate and consistent reading.Overall, I am very pleased with this thermometer. It is beautifully designed and manufactured, too, with Apple iphone like overall feel and quality, reflecting a top company behind it. Well done iHealth!

Simple but Functional
Buying a thermometer is more complicated than I thought. For Adult use an oral thermometer is the best but if you really want one, choose a bit more expensive one with consistent readings. Don’t consider traffic lights gimmick or ear and forehead combination for adult usage only. After several returns and testing I settled for i Health. It is a good quality thermometer with reliable and accurate readings.
