The most-used gadget in my kitchen
I used to find recipes that gave ingredients by weight and not volume aggravating, but now it’s the other way around–weight is far more accurate (and I have less to wash when I can just weigh each ingredient and add it to the mixing bowl, pan, etc.). This scale is surprisingly versatile and accurate for one so small and compact, and easy to store. Once you switch to recipes that use weight measurements and their accuracy, you won’t want to go back to the “old” volume measurements!

Seems accurate and responsive. The volume measurements are based on the density of water. So they aren’t accurate for oil or anything that isn’t the same density as water.I use this to measure food for tracking on weight watchers. Quicker and easier than measuring cups. Also less cleanup.

From bulk packs to individual sized packs
I use this to take a bulk pack of hamburger or chicken and divvy it up into 1 lb packages I can put in the freezer. Portion control vs trying to eat a 3 or 4 pound pack of hamburger before it goes bad.Accuracy seems to be right on the nose as i have bought bulk packs that are 3.06 lbs – and i get exactly 3 packages…with a couple crumbles left over. it’s easy to use, reset, and clean.

Works great and doesn’t take up much room
I am a diabetic, so I carefully watch my portion sizes. I have reached the point where I weigh and measure everything, and this attractive, low profile unit is just the thing. You can switch from grams to ounces with a touch of one button, while the other both powers up the unit and serves as a “tare” button—so you can zero out the weight of any container, or even zero out one ingredient to weigh the next. This lives on my counter at all times and I can no longer imagine preparing food without it!

I have used a few food scales throughout the years and for what the price is, this scale is the best. Has multiple units of measurement, a weighing surface that is plenty big, and the measurement display is also large and easy to read. The best thing is how accurate this scale is. I have compared measurements using an old school weight based scale and another higher end/priced scale and it’s dead on. Other great features include the overall size and look of the scale, the price, the longevity of the batteries used (power consumption), and how easy it is to clean and operate. For the price you won’t be sorry.

Just what I needed
I make my dogs food and I needed something to weigh their proportions on. The scale is easy to use, seems to have good accuracy, and allowed me to weigh out the proportion that each dog needed to maintain a healthy weight and get enough food. It is digital and easy to see the screen. It is just what I needed and a good tool to have in my kitchen.

Great little scale
I never thought I would have much use for a scale in my kitchen but I did have and old non digital one that I would occasionally drag out of the back of my cabinet when I felt the need to measure something. I looked at the digital scales for a while before finally committing to purchasing this one and I’m glad I did. This scale is so easy to use, takes up very little space and now has been used more than I ever thought I would. My favorite feature is being able to place a bowl or container on the scale before turning it on and then when you turn it on it starts at zero. No need to subtract the weight of the vessel you are using to hold your flour, sugar or whatever. I would definitely buy this again, recommend it or buy it for someone as a gift.

I was worried I wouldn’t be able to measure larger amounts or gooey, sticky things. With the easy to use tare feature, it is no problem to use a cup or bowl and add the product I want measured into it. I have wanted one of these for a long time to weigh my bread dough. I have found it useful for SO many other things –potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, flour and more. It is so affordable and easy to use. Definitely a best buy for me.

This scale is great. I generally never weighed my food before but this makes it easy. You just put the plate on, zero it out and add the food for an accurate proportion weight. Definitely a great buy.
