Great bottles, they only leak if…
These bottles leak if you are constantly succumbing them to heat, as in sterilization, dishwasher, or bottle warmer. If you don’t heat them up frequently they won’t leak, I noticed that when I sterilized them once a week I didn’t have issues. But after my baby had a bout of thrush and we had to sterilize after each use the leaking started. (By the way I’ve purchased this brand from a major retailer and from amazon both had the same issues.)What I find helps and not sure why, is to put it together, make my bottle, shake and then unscrew and rescrew the lid closed again. Idk if this lets out pressure or what. Since I’ve been doing this I haven’t had anymore leaks.

Dr. Brown
I love the bottles but the numbers/lines are coming off. I wash the bottles multiple times a day and boil them. Idk if that is causing it but my son is only 2 months and idk if the lines will last for 10 more months.

Great bottle and venting, poorly made lids
I really love the bottle and venting system. Itvents perfectly, even though it is a bit of a pain to clean the extra pieces. I also like the nipple shape. The only issue I have with these is the lids (that cover the nipple) fall off easily and they don’t seal the top of the nipple even when they are on. So if the bottle tips over at all, then the lid fills up with liquid and then leaks it in the diaper bag.

Great bottle
These bottles hold up nicely and my babies are still using them 4 months later, dishwashing them daily. They have helped with reducing hiccups as well.

The best bottles I have
These bottles does have a lot of parts to clean, but I rather have these bottles over the original bottles. They help with crying and whining I love I can control the flow of the bottle so it don’t spill out.

They leak
These work well. My baby is a big girl and chugs no matter if we pace feed or burp in between, and even with the anti colic vent she still was pretty gassy and fussy. First time mom so idk if there’s any bottle that’s 100% going to take away air. The 4 star rating is because these things leak, and I’m not going past the 4oz cuz when we used these she was only at 3-3.5 oz. Having sticky hands and then a sticky baby is annoying.

Great bottle!
I highly recommend these bottles. We’ve been using them since our baby was about 10 days old and love them. Our baby very rarely burps or has not had acid reflux at all and I know that it’s due to the design of these bottles. They are easy to hold to feed baby with and the baby can grab the bottle as well when interested. In addition to them working well for our baby, we find them easy to clean and store when not in use. They even clean well in the dishwasher which is an added bonus! Gauge the nipple size according to your babies age and you’ll have success too!

Work great for reflux baby
I use these for my preemie and they help so much with her acid reflux. They do tend to leak a lot so you have to be careful about transporting filled bottles.

Excellent Bottles!
My baby and I really enjoy these bottles, baby enjoys the anti colic features and I enjoy not having to see my baby cry helplessly for hours at a time. Baby has not once got colic and I believe it’s because of these bottles. My friend also had a baby around the same time I did and her baby has colic and it’s driving her crazy, she’s using different bottles and I recommend these bottles to her. These are a God send! – Ana A.

The only bottle my BF baby will take
I registered for all Avent Anti Colic bottles and my baby will not take them. When you are in the hospital after giving birth and formula feed or receive donor milk, the disposable nipple they give you for the bottle is identical to the Dr Browns Anti Colic nipple. I think this is why my baby won’t take the other bottles, since we used donor milk in the hospital. The bottles are easy to clean but the green anti colic device is tricky, the bottle brush doesn’t clean the inside very well.

Perfect transition from the NICU bottles
My son was in the NICU, and is only on formula because I don’t have milk. He only liked the NICU bottle and the similac slow flow nipple that came with it. We’ve tried different bottles and nipples but he didn’t like any. We finally found this dr. Brown one and he liked it. We were washing and sanitizing the bottles and nipples that we got from the NICU until we found this narrow slow flow dr. Brown bottles. He leaks much less with them as well. Highly recommend.

Good bottles.
I bought the 4oz 4 pack options plus bottles. I was initially hesitant to buy them because of the many reviews that said that these leaked. With much contemplation, I bought thee because the 4oz seemed the next big jump from 2oz when your baby is eating roughly 3 oz each feed. When I initially used these with the premie nipple they works great – no spills or leaks. But when I switched to level 1 nipple they started leaking. In the pursuit to find the answer I experimented with water and tried several different bottle positions to see where the leak was. I could not find any. Finally, after ready the many articles, video and reviews online it seems like here is what’s happening — since my baby is not adjusted yet to the level 1 flow, he gulps milk fast and leaves a lot of air bubble into the bottle through the nipple. This seems to create pressure on the vent and leads to milk levels rising into the vent even when the bottle is placed completely upright. This could be remedied by opening the collar of the bottle gently and reinserting the vent back thus allowing the air to escape out and milk to settle back to normal levels. So far, this seems to work and I have had much fewer leaks by following the below -1. Keep baby upright and not fully on back2. Keep bottle at 45 degree angle such that the vent does not submerge in milk3. If the vent fills with milk, gently loosen the bottle collar and reinsert the ventI am giving a 4 star as I am satisfied with the product as such but figuring this out was a pain and a complete ordeal.

Good bottles
These bottles are great for my newborn. They are the only bottles we use. There are a lot of parts but it’s worth it. The only reason I gave it four stars is because they do tend to leak after a while.

Highly recommend
I was a first-time mom of twin boys. They were in the NICU for a couple of days and they were intubated. People recommended that we use these bottles and every website we searched also had Dr. Brown as one of the best bottle brands. Let me tell you that they were right. My twins never suffered from colic or has problems sucking from the bottle. As my boys got bigger, I would just change the nipples.
Shanighnigh –
Takes way to long to clean but works great.
This bottles work great at keeping my son from being gassy. But they take forever to wash with all there small parts and tubes. So I have a love hate relationship with them. I dread cleaning them but my sons worth it. It takes me almost a half hour to wash six of these give or take.

Grows Black Mold Daily
The caps grow black mold daily. I have 3 brands and this is the only one that does this. I have to feed my baby at night and sometimes rinse the bottles then wash after a few hours in the morning. Every day I see somehow black mold has once again grown between nipple and cap. I have to remove nipple from cap and sanitize in steamer and dishwasher. I’m so scared to use them. I can’t wash bottles in the middle of the night. These are the worst I want to toss them but they were so expensive.

Leak through while baby feeds
It’s 4 stars because milk leaks through the sides when my daughter is drinking it. They do prevent gas build up. We prefer these bottles over the philip bottles because the level one in the philip are too difficult for my daughter to feed due to the type of nipple they come with.

Good
PROS- Quality of the products and the packaging was good.- Prints on the bottles are nice and bright.CONS- Should come with travel caps and not the travel discs as the discs can move when screwing on the nipple part and leak.- The straw components does not fit down into the bottle but rests on the bottles at the opening- Straws don’t go all the way to the bottom of the bottles its about 3cm short- Bottles only come with level one nipples which sucks. Should include at-lease one other level nipple.

Almost perfect
We used Dr. Browns bottles because the hospital recommended them for our premie. They were easy to use and fairly easy to clean. All of the different parts were the irritating occasionally but mostly because no tired mom likes trying to put together a bottle with 4 parts in the middle of the night for a screaming infant. Overall these were great.

Good bottles once you’re able to avoid leaks!
I’ve always used these bottles but now I noticed a lot of leaks! I read this tip and it’s been very helpful.Make sure baby is more of a sitting position than in a cradle position. Tilt the bottle in a 45 degree angle to avoid the milk going into the tube.I get minimal leaks using this method. Hope this help those having the same issues.

Occasionally leak
Baby takes to these bottles well. They’re a little of a pain to clean due to all the parts but baby has never suffered from gas or colic so it’s worth the inconvenience. They do leak on occasion out the top… but from what I’m told, all bottles do.

Great bottles for gas prevention, but a pain to clean
We love these bottles for our daughter and they help prevent her from taking in a lot of air that would cause her to have gas. We tried multiple different brands and these worked best for her with latching and gas prevention. The only downside to this bottle is that there are multiple parts and it can be a pain to clean, BUT, I would much rather clean these bottles than have a fussy/gassy daughter that is in pain!

We found a winner!
My baby would only nurse but once he started getting teeth it was time for a bottle. We tried 5 different kinds and dr browns won. Didn’t have to make him try them he just took it no problem. For nursing moms don’t feel bad if you choose to pump and bottle feed. It has been working great for us.

Best Bottles
New mom – and I got a few different types of bottles from people, and I have to say, these are the best! I am unsure if the anti-colic insert works for anyone, but I have noticed that when I use it, she spits up a lot more, so for us, the bottles work better without them.
AvonLadyShika –
Great bottles, esp for breastfeeding mothers
I like that these bottles don’t cause any nipple confusion. They don’t make my baby fussy since I use the vent system. They are very easy to clean. The only problem I have is when they leak sometimes and all of the pieces are put together properly. And the bottle isn’t full over the line. But that only happens once in a while.

Great flow for our infant, sometimes leaky
We had a few of the larger “standard” bottles, but it was way too big for what our baby needed to consume. It was nice this was in a 4-pack so that we could cycle through them. There’s just a few times where it leaks (we make sure to fill it under the line). We typically screw it on tight, so not sure what happens. We notice it leaking through the nipple on the top part rather than the screw part of it.Otherwise, we really like Dr. Brown bottles for flow and less fussiness overall.

It is what it is
Exactly as described, nice bottles for our baby girl. She uses them without any trouble, there is no spill if you follow the instructions correctly. We don’t use the insert because it is a pain in the ass to clean… other than that, they are fine.

Dr. Brown’s Anti-Colic Bottles Provide Exceptional Comfort and Feeding Experience!
we decided to give Dr. Brown’s Anti-Colic Bottle a try. The difference it made in our baby’s feeding experience was nothing short of remarkable. The innovative design significantly reduces the amount of air swallowed during feedings, resulting in a happier and more content baby.Feeding times have become simpler and more enjoyable since we switched to this bottle. The unique anti-colic vent system works wonders, effectively minimizing the discomfort caused by trapped air. Our little one’s fussiness has decreased significantly, and we’ve noticed a remarkable improvement in their overall comfort after meals.

Love the design!
Dr. Brown bottles are the only one worked for my baby. I know it’s annoying having many parts to wash but as long as baby drinks milk without leaking. I already had a regular bottles so I chose the blue bottles with some designs. They are very cute!!

Good bottles
I liked them because they helped our baby have less gas (he was quite gassy). However I don’t love how complicated they are to clean (mostly just the inside add-ons). 2/5 of our bottles did leak, though, which is disappointing. I get the bottom of the bottle is not sealed properly and we would find rings of milk on furniture sometimes. We recently bought the 8-oz bottles and haven’t had that problem.

Helps with gas but leaks
When we got to the higher capacity of these bottles– but still below the max fill line– these started to leak like crazy during feedings. When we graduated to larger bottles, though, I tried other brands of anti colic and the Dr Brown’s narrow ones were still the best at reducing excess gas, so we stuck with them. Just expect that when you get to 3.5 ounces, these might start to leak on you.

Makes a big difference for my baby
My baby has a really sensitive pallet that makes it difficult for him to breastfeed so we have to bottle feed. I tried other bottles and this one is the best for him in terms of reducing the amount of air he ends up swallowing. Would recommend to other parents whose babies have difficulty sucking correctly
Renee –
Milk spills when tipped over
Milk or formula will spill out of this bottle into the capped bottle top if this bottle falls over. The nipple has to be completely securely on to prevent this. Even still, it can happen. So if you’re a parent rushing around, just be aware and always try to have these bottles sitting perfectly straight up

I like it, but not easy to clean..
Raven Gracey –
Bottles are great. Nipple caps, not so much.
These are really nice. Unlike the Options bottles, they bring back the sealing discs of the Original bottles. The neck attachers that go on the vent tubes are a little harder to clean. The horizontal hole across the top of the attacher is smaller than on the Original or Options bottles. It’s doable, but can take a bit of effort to get the little brush in there sometimes. The only thing I don’t like, is the caps that protect the nipple. They are the same style as the Options bottles, but without the little tab to help get it off. These, barely stay on. The Options bottles I have, their caps were almost difficult to get off. These, you barely tap them and they come off, making traveling with them annoying. A slight bump or jossle in your cooler bag and the caps are loose. The sealing discs are also harder to remove. Unlike with the Original bottles, where I could get them loose with my nail, these I have to push the nipple out of the neck to get the disc to come loose. Maybe that will change once they’ve been washed more, but so far they still stick.

Best bottles!
I’ve learned about this bottles from friends and family. While I was preparing for my own little one, I planned ahead incase they were going to be colicky. Great news, they are not! But I still use all the pieces to the bottles like they are. 6 months now. 🙂
Jacob farner –
One of the better anti-colic bottles.
Although there are a lot of parts to keep track of and clean, it definitely reduces air bubbles and has a nice, slow drip to prevent baby from choking. They aren’t exaggerating about the max line, though. Sometimes, even just under the max line is cutting it too close and causes leaks. Anywhere below the top milliliter line is perfect, though.
Allison –
Decent for the money
Pretty good for the money. I purchased because I thought it would help with acid reflux. It seemed to help for the most part, but baby then decided to not take the bottle. He would play and play with it, spitting it out of his mouth. He is breastfed for the most part…and prefers breast over bottle any day. We switched over to Comotomo and he hasn’t looked back.Pros: Helps with acid reflux a little bit, affordableCons: A lot to clean if you don’t see much of a difference in acid reflux

Something I didn’t even think of
These bottles are very good. They keep baby from swallowing air. But just remember that every single bottle comes with five parts. That’s five parts you have to disassemble, five parts you have to wash every single time. It’s actually six parts if you count the cap so just be mindful that this bottle might be a little bit more work to keep clean.

Great for feeding!
We have tried alllll the bottles and these have been best for our daughter! Milk no longer leaks out the side, she isn’t making strange noises, less gassy, and overall seems to be more comfortable eating. However, shaking the bottle, the milk somehow leaks out! In addition, if you use formula, it’s so hard to get the scoop into these bottle since the opening is about the same size of the scoop (my biggest complaint). Lastly, lots of parts to take apart and clean, but it’s worth it for an easy feed and less fussy baby!

Great bottles
Yes, there are a lot of parts, but it’s so worth it! Baby has done well on these bottles from the start. My biggest complaint is the leaking. I didn’t realize they would leak so much, my diaper back ended up upside down and when I opened it, there was water everywhere. I learned my lesson and now always put the little disc on the bottle if the bottle has to be in the diaper bag. If the cap isn’t on super super tight, it will leak.I have also noticed when the bottles are washed in the dishwasher, a little pool of water can get stuck if the bottle is at all tilted and doesn’t dry properly.

Given a set missing parts and directions
My baby only likes these bottles. Bit of a pain to clean but otherwise I have no issues with them. Seems that I was shipped a set that was a return. I bought 2 of these so there were obvious differences between the sets. Missing three out of four disks that you can put in the cap to seal off the bottle. The only one in there was in the bottom of the box and not in the cap like they are normally shipped. Also missing plastic wrapping around bottles, cleaning brushes and instructions. I get returns happen. But either give me a discount for a used set or ship me a set with all of the pieces.

LIFE CHANGING
I can’t even describe how thankful I am for these bottles! Both of my kids had colic, and my second who is now almost 9 months is stilling spitting up copious amounts after every feeding. We happened to pick up some Dr Browns bottles on clearance at a store and were shocked to find they worked so well. I ordered more and now the only regret I have is not having tried them long ago!!!

Best anti colic bottle. Buy the travel caps though.
These have the best mechanism to break vacuum. For travel you have to either ditch straw thing and screw the cap and nipple super tight. Or just buy the travel caps and keep the state thing in a baggie.Tommy tippys my son couldn’t latch right, so he gets it all overMam my son found it easier just to break vacuum on his own then to silicone “flap?” To cave in.The narrow Phillips Avents worked ok.

Nipples aren’t efficient
Dr browns and Nuks brands are usually the only brands my baby likes. So I am definitely disappointed to see that the nipples on the TALL bottles don’t work good. I tried to make the whole slightly bigger for milk to come out still nothing…Would recommend ordering other sets of nipples just in case you have these issuesBut for the expense of the brand, I expect no issues…

A little fun added to the original Dr. brown’s bottles
We love these decorated Dr. brown’s bottles! Exact same as the plain ones, all parts are interchangeable and same toppers and stems fit our other skinny Dr. brown’s bottles. Ordered these because they were sold out of the all blue ones, and these were perfect! Would 10/10 buy again!

Does What a Bottle is Supposed to Do, but Developed Leaks
The bottles do as they’re supposed to do. I have two different brands of bottles, and these are my favorite. After a month of use, though, a few of the bottles have developed leaks. I’m not sure if they are too tight or too loose or what is going on, but a slow and steady drip of milk comes out near the lid when in use.

Many parts to clean but does not leak as much compared to other bottles.
I have a one month old preemie baby (born 34wks; was in NICU for being an immature feeder) When it was time for her to use a regular bottle vs hospital bottle we started with the MAM bottles and she took to it pretty well but milk did leak out of the base of the nipple and she seemed to get so gassy after her feedings. I got quite a few of these Dr Browns bottles in a variety of baby sample boxes so we decided to give it a try and my little one immediately took to the these bottles (narrow flow 1 nipples come with these bottles). It does appear to help with her burps and gassiness compared to the MAM bottled we used previously and there was no confusion for her making the switch from a wide base nipple to a more narrow base nipple. So far we love these but hate all the different parts that must be washed! That is the only downside!

Great bottles
Great bottles. Easy to clean, ready to hold. Took out one star because they would leak every so often. Probably due to the green pipe, but we can never figure out why it would leak sometimes and why not other times.

Great for my baby!
My baby does great taking these bottles. They have an anti-colic mechanism. There are 5 pieces per bottle to wash, which is alot but they are somewhat easy to wash. You do need a bottle brush and also a smaller brush to get in the narrow areas of the bottle. Overall, would recommend these, but every baby is different.

Try This Before Other Bottles
Sleep-deprived and bleary-eyed, I purchased one of those other anti-colic bottles. I won’t mention the brand by name, but it’s shaped like a boobie with an ergonomic space-age grip, so it must have been well thought out, right? And it was twice the price of the Dr Browns, so clearly it’s better, right? Naah fam. These are lies the devil whispers to us when we’re in a sleep deprived fugue state triggered by 24/7 screaming babies driving up our cortisol levels to 11.This is the bottle you want for fussy-butt feeders. It may not completely solve the problem, but in combination with the right formula for your lil’un, it makes a huge difference in the quantity and severity of gas and associated discomfort. Moreover, unlike that other space-boobie-bottle thing, it’s relatively easy to clean. This is the bottle you want. Thank God Marty McFly rescued Dr Brown from the Old West in Back to the Future III so we could have this bottle design on the market in 2023!

Loving it
Been using for 21 days now. I used 2 different brands. The air bubbles were visible for the other when baby is drinking. But with Dr.Browns no air bubbles, just the milk. The green small thing is the one that controls milk flow thus eliminating air. So make sure to always use the green part. Totally happy.

Great for colic babies
I love these bottles. I have used them for my son and now my daughter. Helps so much with the colic and helps eliminate those extra bubbles for gas. Ease to clean, the sizing is perfect. Highly recommend dr brown bottles for your babies.

My baby does the best with Dr Browns. Also, the nipple fits onto the Similac premade 2 oz bottles for newborns that are given by hospitals

Buy them!
Not sure why some people say these leak or leave a negative review. My reflux baby does the best drinking from these bottles. Minimal to no reflux, and the bottles do not leak! I just place all of the parts in the dishwasher (minus the nipples) and dry them in the Dr Browns bottle sterilizer.

Love these bottles
I use these for my granddaughter, the inserts control flow and air great for her. These are the only bottles I’ll buy.

Highly recommend
The only bottles my twins like and do the best with. The narrow nipple is great for them. They do not do well with all of the wide neck bottles. Still using Dr Browns 7 months in and I’ve tried so many others.

Fine but leaks.
These leak a lot. It’s very annoying. We also tried the avent ones, which also leak. I think they all do that so we stoped looking for different brands since we had bought a lot of nipples and bottles from Dr brown. Our little kiddo seems to like these and they (nipple style) were recommended by various folks.Suggestion: Skip the 4oz bottles and go straight to the 9oz ones.

The only bottle my baby will take
I’ve tried over 10 bottles with my baby and dr brown is all he’ll take. Cleaning the inner parts of the bottle is annoying but that’s the only drawback. Fortunately the bottles are dishwasher safe. I also like how dr brown has a variety of different flows you can purchase. My baby started out on preemie then level 1 and now level 2. It’s very convenient that I can keep the same bottles and only have to replace part when he needs a new flow level.

Labels are different than store bought bottles
We love the Dr. Brown bottles! Now that we are transitioning to 8oz bottles we bought some from amazon and target, but noticed the sticker/label that measures doesn’t match so it can be frustrating getting an accurate idea of how much she is eating. Otherwise the bottles are great!

I like these bottles
I see what other reviews talked about with the bottles leaking. However I only had leaking from the nipple with the cap on. There are a lot of parts to clean but would recommend.

Great bottles, lots of washing, original is better
I like these bottles and use them a lot. For for babies so far, so I know what I’m talking about! They really do give an even and easy flow. I’ve really appreciated it for my preemies who don’t have extra energy to waste on suction inside the bottle. They do have a lot of parts to wash, and you really do need to wash them. These options ones are fine, but I don’t like them without the insert, because then there is a lot of suction inside the bottle. By the time my babies are able to use without the insert, it’s really time for them to start using cups instead anyway. The options kind is also slightly harder to wash than the regular doctor browns. In summary, these are great bottles, doctor browns traditional kind is even better.

Must have baby bottles!
We had a premie and these are the perfect size bottles to start with for the first month or two of babies life. Baby does not need to be a premie for these bottles to work. We loved the size of them! They worked wonders to help reduce air from entering (reducing gas), easy to clean, holds 4oz and is easy to travel with. They are light weight and easy to hold while feeding. The one con we did have for this bottle is that if it’s not put together or sealed properly it tends to leak. We also learned the hard way as first time parents that the white flat caps are to be placed between the filter (green) and the cap/nipple to prevent leaking while traveling. Do not throw the white caps away they are to be used to prevent leaking bottles! All in all this is a great set of bottles by a great brand. We recommend this bottle set to first time parents. We also should kindly remind parents that not all kiddos like this style bottle. Our baby did and that is why we bought them! This brand was also recommended by our provider. Please remember that this is a review and contains opinions. You may have a different opinion and that is okay. I hope this can help someone!

Best bottles for babies with feeding issues
My 3 month old seas not gaining weight, seemed like she was having trouble eating 24/7 with other name brand bottles I was using. She could never drink more than 2 oz max, most of the time only drinking 1/2 an ounce to an ounce. I went to a PT/OT feeding specialist and they found she had multiple oral ties, high palate and oro motor issues. They recommended we use the dr brown barrow bottles with level 2 nipple. Within 24 hrs of her using these bottles she was able to start drinking 4 ounces at a time. I never thought that would be possible. We still have a long way to go but I’m super thankful for Dr browns bottles. They are a bit leaky but once you get the hang of it it’s not bad at all. Thank you for making a wonderful product that makes it easier on my baby to eat. I will forever only use and recommend this brand from now on.

Bottles leak no matter how tight the top is screwed on
Baby does well with the bottles so no complaints there. But the bottles leak no matter how tight I screw the top on leaving a mess all over baby and any surface I set the bottles on

Love Dr. Brown’s but not these tops!
I love Dr. Brown’s bottles. They are great if you have a reflux baby but the extra parts do mean extra to clean. My only complaint with these specific bottles is that the tops don’t fit flush like the original options bottles. So if you aren’t paying attention and the bottle falls over some milk seaps out of the top. If I would have known this I would have just purchased the older version of the options bottles with the normal tops not the ones with the finger grip. Even still these are the only bottles I use for my baby.

Good for Avoiding “Nipple Confusion”
We bought these for our newborn so my husband could help with expressed milk feeds at night, but so that baby would still have to work for the milk and not get lazy with the bottle. I’m very happy they carry this preemie size as other brands have discontinued this size. They work well, my only issue is that they can leak during feeds, even if the max in the bottle is 60ml (10ml under the max line).

Great bottle but sent the wrong design
I like Dr Brown’s bottles. Though they do occasionally leak a little when shaking like other raters have said, but this is not that much of an issue as we make it by the sink, and it is only initially that it happens and a couple drops.I would have given 5 stars but, as I originally thought my husband ordered the wrong bottles I realize after reviewing that the correct ones had been ordered, but the wrong design sent. I ordered the adventure design but was sent the blue nature ones. Good thing I have a boy!

Read the directions
Ok, so originally I hated these bottles because they leaked all over. But my baby has had really bad gas and I got desperate. How could there be so many good reviews if they all leak? What am I doing wrong? Turns out, the fill line “do not fill above this line” is obvious once you look for it. The directions “hold at 45 degrees and keep the vent end out of the milk” is much less obvious. Both are definitely complicated to figure out when you haven’t slept properly in months. Bottom line is that they really reduce gas… but be careful how you hold them and fill them to feed you baby. If you’re careful, they work like a charm.

Saving grace after months of research
I’ve tried every brand of bottle under the sun and these are BY FAR the best if you have a colicky baby with lots of spit up! They take extra time to wash all of the parts, but it is so so worth it! I won’t buy any other bottles from here on out

Good bottles
Both of my kids have used Dr browns bottles and they work great. The vent system is a little difficult to clean due to so many crevices but its not a huge deal. Love the designs. Many reviews say the bottles leak but in my experience if you have the lid on tight and the vent system is on all the way they didn’t leak for me. Would recommend.

Good flow
I’ve tried pretty much every bottle that you can and this is one of the best ones you can get. If you can get over having to clean what feels like 1,000 different pieces every day these bottles will be one of the best you can purchase. If you don’t want to splurge on these you can buy just the tops and they fit the parents choice bottles perfectly you just wont be able to use the vents with them but I haven’t noticed a change in flow without them in.

Great product, only the color is hard to see
Everything about dr.Brown product is perfect. Only one thing you need to take attention is the color. The color is effect of number you want to focus (here is ml, the oz is fine) especially in mid night lol. We want to feed her in dark enough for baby easy falling asleep after full, so the blue one is still first choice!

Don’t buy the wide bottles!!!!
If you’re between these and Dr. Brown’s wide bottle, buy these!!! We’ve been using the wide and como tomo for baby’s first month and I finally bought these and wow what a difference!! The wide bottle makes you think baby is getting a more natural breast shape but breasts compress when feeding and the wide nipple doesn’t. This bottle is actually more similar to breast. For my baby the wide was encouraging a shallow latch (also had tongue tie revision so he was already susceptible to shallow latch), lots of clicking and losing suction, so much leaking out of his mouth, and so much gas!!!I switched to these today and used the Dr. Brown’s formula pitcher and what a big difference. No clicking and no leaking. No more gumming the bottle. Seems to be less gas but time will tell. Also the wide makes it really hard to get the last drops of milk without dipping your baby completely horizontal but with these I can pretty much keep him upright and still get to the bottom. They’re even easier to hold. The only downside is that you need a bottle brush to clean these. I’m buying more of these immediately and putting all the rest in long term storage!

Dr Brown’s awesome! Skinny on several types of bottles, on leaks, and too many parts to clean!!
Dr Brown’s bottles, in general, are great!! Each one, however, is slightly different and overall I prefer the Options, even though my baby is not old enough to use valve-less. I have the original (terrible at spills, because the white cap in the shape of a top hat, sort of, doesn’t stop any liquid at all; they have clear bottles, blue tubies, and whitish valves). I have 4oz blue Options (great, easy parts, thumb print on the lid is awesome for popping that sucker off, and the lid also has these bumps that line up with the nipple, where it slows down the leaking of liquids, and keeps the leak in the cap, although given the ease of taking the cap off, it can still get really messy). (Sorry for the run on sentences, I’m a sleep deprived mama!!) I have the 4oz pink Options (similar to the blue, but actually the valve fits very snuggly along with the tubey part into the bottle, so that can be handy when trying to put the bottle together or add formula, while also holding a baby – more stable than any of the other bottles, where the tubey/valve pieces are just loose kind of sitting on top of the bottle; similar cap as the blue, but no thumb print, and harder to get the cap off, especially one handed). Lastly, I have the 8oz Options with plain bottles and with the Dream/Adventure and Animal characters, all with the green valves and tubies, and the similar cap to the blue, except they are clear, thumbprint included! These have been great, and the animal characters are super cute; the ‘dream big’ and ‘adventure awaits’ are cute-meh. The only thing I was disappointed in that set, is that half the bottles had characters, and half were plain. I may be off on the count, because I bought two sets, but I remember being bummed that I paid a premium for cuteness, and didn’t get a full set of cuteness! I do not own, but have used some purple wide bottles that I was loaned while traveling. That was great, so I wouldn’t have to carry a bunch of bottles, but I wouldn’t/didn’t buy them; they’re just too wide for my taste, harder to handle, especially one handed, and I didn’t feel the wide nipple was significantly better for my baby girl. I will address two of the main two complaints I’ve seen about Dr. Brown’s: leaking and too many parts to clean! Leaking, yes, totally a thing, but it does in fact say on the bottle to only fill to X line to avoid leaking! Having said that, it is very hard for my brain to perfectly calculate how much water I need for the formula, where I don’t end up exceeding the volume specified on ghe bottle! I personally don’t think it’s a huge issue. I know it’s going to or probably will, leak, given the liquid in the bottle, and what I do is to keep a cloth or bib under the bottle when she first starts drinking, and after the liquid is down a bit, I just open the bottle up and pull the valve/tubey piece up a bit, and several big drops come flying down the side of the bottle, which I just wipe off with the same bib/cloth. I can immediately get the bottle put back together before my daughter complains too terribly much. Remember, this is only an issue when you’re filling the entire bottle, either 4oz or 8, so at that point the baby is a bit older and can hopefully handle the briefest of pauses without too much of an issue. If my daughter were the type to go full on nuclear melt down, I think I would probably have to be more diligent about staying under the line, and offering more milk, once the bottle’s finished, and a fuller belly is less likely to melt down. Ok, regarding too many parts to clean… there’s what? Two extra parts that other bottles don’t have? Meh. But I will totally recommend getting the Dr Brown’s dishwasher baskets!!! Oh. Dude. Awesome sauce, life-saving, yes. I am very green, sustainable oreinted, so I cringe at how much water I’m consuming running the dishwasher sometimes every day. So not cool. And, I’m also a sole parent, so I gots a lot to take care of, dishwashy basket is a must!! I have 4. : 0 ) I’m not a super fan of washing the nipples in the dishwasher, so I still do those by hand, no biggy. There’s even special baskets for just nipples; someone gave them to me, but no, I no likey since it looks like there’s still a film on the inside. My experience with Dr Brown’s bottles in general, has been awesome! I don’t even remember when I sorta stopped burping my baby (she’s six months now), it just happened organically over time, but when I was burping her (maybe for three months?), she would only have one, maybe two burps. She burps on her own now, but then maybe that’s just her, the point is that there was very little gas! She had a wee bit of reflux as a newborn, but that’s normal I think, what with having an immature gut as a tadpole-baby. I gave her probiotics and kept her upright-ish, and I think the bottles helped. Ultimately, I totally recommend them!! They were recommended to me by my sister, 8 years ago, as my nephew’s salvation, hope they work for you!

New bottles for my new grandson
Dr. Brown’s are by far my favorite bottles especially at the newborn stage and especially for nursing babies. It makes it nice that they have a premie nipple so the flow is not too hard

Worth it! Magic bottle
Okay hear me out! This is my third kid and he ended up doing the best on these bottles, he cries a lot from gas and reflux issues till the point where he would be screaming and inconsolable. At first i tried tommee tipee bottles because they were easy to clean but he was so fussy after every feed. Then I tried phillips avent anti colic bottles.. still fussy. My other babies did fine on avent bottles but i dont think they had feeding issues. If you are like me and can not stand your baby crying after every feed just do yourself a favor and buy this bottle to try it out. Yes its a pain to wash each piece but i use a wash basin and wash all the pieces in soapy water first by letting them soak before scrub down. Use the tiny bristle brush that comes with it to wash the valves. And scrub every hole nook and cranny!! I use a regular straw cleaner brush because it works better. And also i bought the dr browns sterlizer and dryer machine and its so amazing. It sanitizes and dries my bottles and parts completely in under one hour! Do not assemble the bottles wet it will smell odd, i wouldn’t recommend it. make sure all pieces are clean and dry before assembling . Okay and for the leaking issue you see on the negative reviews, i dont over tighten the ring cap. My husband over tightens the ring cap for the nipple part and they leak every time he assembles bottles. Just screw it on until its on there but dont apply extra pressure. Last thing.. when warming this up in a bottle warmer- do not warm up the bottle with the valves pieces or nipple, use a plastic cap for warming bottles i think i got the cap from the dr browns bottle warmer, which i don’t recommend for warming bottles i prefer the avent bottle warmer more. Good luck 👍

Great for puppies
I purchased Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Narrow Baby Bottles for the purpose of nursing newborn puppies, and I am thrilled with how well they work! These bottles are designed to reduce colic, and I found that they also worked wonders for my puppies, who tended to experience digestive issues when nursing. The narrow shape of the bottle makes it easy to hold and control while feeding, and the silicone nipple is soft and flexible, which mimics the texture and feel of a mother dog’s teat. The bottle also comes with a vent system that helps to reduce air intake and prevent gas and colic in the puppies. One of the features that I appreciate about these bottles is that they are easy to clean and sterilize, which is important when nursing newborns. They are also made from high-quality materials that are safe for my puppies to use.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Narrow Baby Bottles for nursing newborn puppies. They are effective, easy to use, and durable, making them a great investment for anyone who wants to ensure the health and well-being of their newborn puppies.
