Seriously I’ve been using this for 5+ years and it matches me perfectly.Only complaint is the pencil part does break frequently. for $3 i can justify buying a new one when this happens but it’s still a pain. Wish they were more durable.

I’ve been using this e.l.f. brow pencil for a very long time. So long, in fact, that I don’t even remember when I bought it. My first one finally crumbled as it was nearing the end, so I’ve just bought a couple more; one for my purse and one for home. I’ve used the e.l.f. brow palette as well, and it’s perfect if you need more than one color (maybe I should review that one too!). Both good products! What I like about this brow pencil is that it’s portable, easy to use, and it has the spoolie brush at the end, so it’s easy to groom your brows after you use the pencil. I have bought many brow products over the years, some quite recently. I’ve not only been disappointed (usually shade too dark), but I’ve wasted money as well. I have medium-brown brows, and I use the blonde shade. It works perfectly to give me a bit of darkness without being too overpowering. Over the years, I have come to completely trust the e.l.f. line of cosmetics and skincare. They’re quality products, and they don’t make my wallet sad!

Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil (Neutral Brown color): This review is specific to the “Neutral Brown” color pencil which was purchased. If you want to have an inexpensive soft brownmedium brown eyebrow pencil, this can be a good choice. Obviously, the color you would choose depends on the coloring of your brows and complexion and the look you wish to achieve. I personally like this color because it is more subtle than some and blends well into your eyebrows if you have brownbrunette hair – it doesn’t shout “EYEBROW Pencil” the way some other products do. The brush on the other end is useful for softening the color and brushing your brows into place. It doesn’t last as long as some of the gel types of eyebrow color, but it is softer and doesn’t give you that “gelled” look. So, overall, a useful product if you like a more natural look and don’t expect your eyebrow pencil to stay on for days.

Decent pencil for quick fixes
I typically use Anastasia Beverly Hill’s eye pencil, but I keep one of these in my car for touch ups or if I run out and forget to fill my brows. Good product and a great price. Long-lasting, doesn’t rub off easily but with enough water/soap/makeup remover comes off just fine. A staple in my makeup collection.

I’ve been a fan of the nyx microbrow. When I saw this was only $3 and it had good reviews I decided to try it. It is definitely not for me. It’s hard to use. The edges are way too bag/round not good for precision. It’s also too waxy and hard to get the color out. Definitely did not lift my eyebrow and barely covers it.***Update: I originally used it in the winter and it didn’t glide as well as it did in the summer. Maybe because of how hot it has been this summer, it makes it super easy to use. Glides really well, very easy to use, and the color is natural. The precision is still not as good considering how round the tip is but it’s my quick go to eyebrow lift for natural look. I use the nyx precision one when I want to take my time more with my make up.

This is a perfect color for my natural blonde hair. Fills in brows. Use the brush to blend and shape. Works as well as something far more expensive! The color is the best I’ve found for blondes! It matches the color of my roots in summer or my winter blonde shade so that makes it feel very natural.

I have very sparse eyebrows. Many eyebrow products get way too crazy on me. This pencil gives a very subtle look, requires a fairly heavy hand. So, it’s hard to end up looking crazy. But it’s not, like, tooooooo subtle. Perfect price.

Low tech, but works
Basically just a good crayon, but it works surprisingly well for little money. But that’s only you get exactly the right color which is critical. (Even though I have brown eyebrows, the blonde is the shade that blends in and looks natural.) Also takes more pracitce than some competing products to “draw” things right. Lasts a long time, even overnight. But it does not add fibers or bulk like some of the costlier brow pencils, thus the 4-star rating.

Best Eyebrow Pencil for the Price!
This is probably one of the most reasonably priced eyebrow pencils on the market. I have tried cheaper ones, but they felt like an actual lead pencil when using it and the color did not show up very well. This pencil, however is smooth and colors in the eyebrows well. I like the brush on the end as well which helps with a polished look at the end. I really like the price point as well. Generally the cheaper ones don’t work well and the more expensive ones can be a hit or a miss. So you can end up spending a whole lot of money on an eyebrow pencil that doesn’t work well for you! This one is cheap enough, that if it doesn’t work out for you-you are not out a whole lot of money!

I’ve been using this eyebrow pencil for years and I always go back to it because it’s so cheap and accessible in many retailers. I find that all eyebrow pencils all produce the same result despite their slightly different forms and textures. This one is a good basic if your hair color matches the shades. My only qualm is that this one is a little bit sheer and I have to build it up if I want to see color. Other than that, I like it and will probably purchase it again unless I find something better at the same price.

I love this product! It’s easy to apply, easy to remove, and is long lasting. This product can be as dramatic or natural as you need. It is a perfect color for my face. It’s not distracting, but rather enhancing the fullness of my brow. For the price, it’s worth it. Having a spare is always great! Also, when you’re using it, it mostly stays put. It doesn’t retract much during application. I’ve found the product has improved this quality over time (retraction while applying). For the price, I always have a spare.

This is a very good pencil. It is just waxy enough to guide (not control) my unruly eyebrows, which is sufficient for me since I don’t like my makeup to dominate my appearance. And the pencil is just the right consistency, not too soft like the honest beauty or the Burt’s bees. I am Asian with black hair and dark brown highlights, and the neutral brown I purchased is a good match. I will purchase this again.

Just like the brow gel I come back to this all the time. I’ve tried other brow pencils and products and for every day use the ease and convenience of this is great. I love the color-the neutral brown looks better on me than blonde or taupe even though I’m blonde- and it doesn’t come out reddish. The other 2 are a bit too light for what I like but they aren’t bad. The point isnt fine, so some people dont like that but it doesn’t bother me. Best daily brow for the price.

Good, cheap eyebrow pencil
I use this daily even though it doesn’t last long even with an eyebrow gel, can’t beat the price. I still have other eyebrow pencils that are pricier and use those for other occasions. It doesn’t cover all my eyebrow scar, so I use another thin eyebrow pencil to just fill in those corners. Otherwise, it’s ok.

This was my first time using a product like this and I really liked it. It doesn’t come out too dark or dramatic which is nice while you’re learning. I read the taupe color works for many people and hair colors and it worked well for me. My only issue is the pencil got smashed up into the cap a couple of times so I only used it maybe ten times before I had to throw it away and buy a new one. Going to try to be more careful with the next one.

Great inexpensive brow pencil. I bought taupe. Very true color, no red tones. It creates a soft, natural look for my sparse brows. Comes off easily with makeup remover. No need to spend a lot of money on a brow pencil, because this $3 pencil is a very good product.

Look, I’m no makeup artist. For me, a ginger with very sparse and thin brows, this works great to fill things in and make it look like I have eyebrows. Definitely more of a “crayon” type–so if you’re looking to make detailed hair lines, this isn’t the product for you. It stays where it needs to but definitely isn’t smudge proof. I’d say it’s a great product for someone who does basic makeup to just perk their face up again. For the price, I haven’t been able to find anything that works any better.

Very little product
This is a good pencil and worked well for me, but I was surprised at how quickly it was used up. Sure enough, I got another one, and checked how much there was. It’s literally half an inch of product. For the price, it’s still worth it for me, but buyer beware.

Easy Daily Eyebrow Pencil
I use this almost daily and I love it! My only issue is that it doesn’t last as long as I want it too.I start with the spooly and comb out my eyebrows. Then, I go in with the pencil side to fill them in. I go in small hair like strokes to make it look as natural as possible. The pencil side is very soft and creamy which I prefer over something that needs to be warmed up in order to be applied. After I fill my brows I add a gel on top and I’m good to go!

Best yet
I have sooo Very many eyebrow products that my 90’s barely there eyebrows have been exposed to. They simply Will Not grow back so alas I find this on a review site or 2 and am happy to say, IM HAPPY! Inexpensive and quick to apply. Def worth trying as so affordable. With All I’ve spent, I could’ve bought the Much More Expensive brands but can’t reconcile that in my head. I am satisfied and exhausted searching. I WILL DEF PURCHASE AGAIN

Affordable
For the price point, e.l.f has delivered with this pencil! It’s smooth, blends well and comes in a pretty exclusive range of shades. The only issue I have with it is that it’s longevity is very short. If you don’t use it daily, it probably could last you a month but if you do use it more regularly, expect about 2 weeks worth of use. Also, it is pretty light so you may want to use a powder or pomade with it for better coverage and seal it with a good gel. But for $3, that isn’t too bad and it is overall more than worth the money! I’m already on my second one.

An excellent value brand
I am always pleased with the price and performance of e.l.f. products and this brow pencil was no exception. There is no distinction between this and one from another brand other than the cost, which can be five times higher for the same result. It is a great brand for beginners, too, because the price is so friendly but the product are not cheap. I am very happy with this and had to immediately reorder because my teen stole my extra one! 🙂

Great eyebrow pencil!
This is a great eyebrow pencil! I chose the ‘blond’ shade as I am fair skinned with light red/blond hair. The co!or is perfect– it gives just the right amount of color without being too dark. I’ve always had trouble finding a good eyebrow pencil because the colors are too dark. This one is perfect. I will be buying this from now on. My only concern is whenever I find makeup I really like, they stop making it! Hopefully, it won’t happen with E.L.F. !

Good basic
This is a good basic eyebrow pencil. The spoolie on the end is great. I do have to set it with an eyebrow gel for it to last, which is fine because I want my eyebrows in place anyways.

Lots of shades, easy to use
Love the variety of shades for multiple hair and skin tones. Super easy to use and blend. I use the pencil in combination with brow gel for maximum stay.

Cheap and Effective
I use this pencil every day! It matches my brow color perfectly and goes on easy. You can’t beat the price but definitely don’t touch it too much after applied because it will come off pretty easily.

The blonde color is great! But…
It is a twist style pencil, and the twist part doesn’t stay in place. So i have to hold it funny while using it. But for under 4$ and the color is great and it lasts all day. I’ll suffer with broken tube and may even order again.

Listen- I’m not a junk makeup kinda girlie but these brow pens work more wonders than the crazy expensive makeup pieces I’ve bought in the past.This pencil is cheap & effective. And that’s all I really need from a brow pen in this life rn.
