Better than the other
I’ve been using Arm and Hammer after reading all of the reviews. I have 2 cats and clean the litter box EVERY day and it still smells. Decided to give this a try and no smell. I missed a day cleaning and still no smell. Never going back to the other.

I tried other cat litters and my bf has one in his rr and it made the rr smell. I got this litter and the smell is gone and the litter in the box smells good and clean. One thing tho when you put it in the litter box there is a lot of dust as if smoked bombed you.

I love my fur baby, but I don’t want my house or her paws and fur to smell like cat urine when she steps out of her litter box. I also don’t want chunky litter bits trailing out of the box with her when she hops out.I know there are people out there that are against scented and/or clumping litter because they believe it isn’t good for cats.I would like to disagree with those people.I’ve had my fur baby girl for 8 years, and have only used this litter for her since her very 1st litter box day when I bought her home at 2 months old. She’s never had any illnesses, she’s never had any skin, coat or tummy issues from the litter, she’s a very healthy and super active adult cat. She’s also the only fur baby in the home, and has been since day 1.My family had used many other litters throughout the past 30 years with cats we had… thank goodness litter has come a long way over those years lol. Ever since the first time I purchased Fresh Step clumping litter, I’ve NEVER bought anything else. I have tried the different scents Fresh Step clumping litter has, but I absolutely love this Extreme Febreze scent the most.I have the litter box sitting on a large litter mat… I’m telling you there’s barely any litter that makes its way out of the box, it’s so great! The litter clumps immediately when she goes potty, it doesn’t stick to her paws or in her little nails. The air around her litter box smells so good 100% of the time, especially after she goes potty and moves the litter around… it releases the amazingly fresh scent in the litter.I know it probably sounds odd to say litter smells great after a cat just pooped in the litter box… but, it really does!It’s easy to scoop everything out, the clumping power of this litter is the best I’ve ever, ever, ever tried. I do clean the potty out of the litter box twice a day, which everyone should also do honestly. Not only is it about the cleanliness of removing waste, it also keeps the litter smelling great longer and allows the litter to keep clumping up immediately.I buy a larger amount of this from my local store up the road, but when they are out of it I will come to Amazon to order it…because this is literally the only litter I use.

My local grocery store has this for about twice the price. This product works great. It is very absorbent, clumps, and covers up most of the smell. I have put this on subscribe and save it saves me so much money. They do have a brand at my store that is cheaper but it doesn’t work….at all. I got rid of it by mixing small amounts into this. That used it up while still working in the litter box.

Instead of a boring review written by me, I decided to go straight into the trenches with my 2 cats, Boris and Bobcat, and ask them why they prefer Fresh Step cat litter over any other brand.I’m reporting from Boris and Bobcat’s litter box, located in their home towards the back part of the house. best affordable litter
This is the best clumping litter I have ever used. It doesn’t have any strong unpleasant odors and cleans up nicely. I just scoop down and lift. The mess dislodges without breaking apart too much so the litter stays pretty clean and lasts a long time. When it starts getting a little low, I just add another couple inches so it is economical because it doesn’t have to be dumped more than a few times a year. I have used this brand for many years and it remains my first choice.

I have always had cats and have always had Fresh Step Litter it’s long lasting & it doesn’t get smelly after a few uses …I have 2 cats tho 1 is elder and makes a mess out of the litter box immediately…However I’d still like to use Freshstep as opposed to any other litter out there ,it doesn’t have to be changed so oftenThe only prob I’m having is that there aren’t many 25 lbs. Boxes out there & with 2 cats 1 being elder a 14 lbs box doesn’t get me far !!I’d like to see more 25 lbs. Boxes of litter it would help deeply..The fresh step gain is super ,fresh step Extreme is super & I can’t seem to catch a break with 25 lbs boxes anymore!!!As well as I don’t get why it’s suddenly become so freaking expensive to purchase a 25 lbs box of litter !!!If people pet owners are used to Fresh Step Litter for their pets and it works why ruin a good thing ? You would get more customers buying fresh step 25 lbs for reasonable price as opposed to 14vlbs which don’t do much for 2 cats 1 being elder !!Like get it together please for the desperate customers out here … You def need to carry more 25 lbs boxes of fresh step and not charge an arm & leg !!!It would greatly be appreciated it !!!

Keeps It Fresh
I have a cat with CKD and he urinates frequently. I used to use a different brand, but it just stopped working as well. One day the usual brand was out of stock, so I tried the Fresh Step litter that was available.I’ve never gone back. It keeps my room from smelling like litter box, and my cat doesn’t fuss because of the odor. It literally keeps the house fresh for 10 days, as stated. I was once unemployed for a few months and rent took most of the payments. I couldn’t afford to keep up with the usual litter routine and would have to stretch what I had. It STILL didn’t smell! I’ve been using Fresh Step for about 2 years now, and it has yet to fail me!

Controla los olores
No olor con esta arena. Limpio la caja de arena de mi gatito dos veces al dÃa y aún asà tenÃa un olor no agradable. Cada cuatro dÃas saco toda la arena hiervo agua y lo pongo con vinagre blanco en el envase del arenero y lo dejo por 1/2 hora aproximadamente. Aún asà tenÃa olor al poco tiempo. Con esta arena continuo haciendo lo mismo y nada de olor. Te la recomiendo es muy buena.

I have used almost every litter from dirt cheap to super expensive and this is just the best litter. It literally masks odor for over a week. Sometimes it does it so well I forget to scoop. I really love this cat litter, even though most clay cat litters, do you have dust? It really does not bother me in my household. The dust is as regular as any other cat litter if you’re pouring from a pie so the key for it to be dust free is the poor love to avoid it And don’t complain about it being just because it’s clay. I feel clay cat litter like this is the only one that really works as far as the smell and clumping everything other is a good runner-up, but clay litter will always be the number one choice for a lot of pet owners and the smell is great. The tracking is as normal as you can get for a clay cat litter but as long as you have something under the litter box, then you will be fine , unfortunately there is no way to reduce the tracking from a cat because they have to sit in the litter to use the bathroom so I think as a pet owner you just have to suck it up and sweep what you can and buy a man that allows the litter to drop in the man there’s pros and cons to having a cat so clay litter is what I will always good, but this one is great. I love it in the smell is amazing. I don’t smell in a urine or smell any poop within the house and that’s the number one thing that I Like

I used this for a portable toilet for camping that had no way to dump it properly. I bought biodegradable black bags, lined the bucket bowl with the bag, and then added the cat litter to the bag. When ready to empty tie up the bag and carry it to the dump station daily. This box lasted 1 week, for 1 woman. Worked as intended for my usage.

1st. I have a litter robot, which you need a scoopable litter for. When I tell you I have tried them ALL, I mean it.. Fresh Step is hands down the best scoop litter there is, even the unscented is superior. You can also sign up for Paw points rewards, which gives you coupons.. I have 3 cats and go through alot of litter, any discount helps! I ran out and went to the store to get this after forgetting to change my subscription credit card when I got a new one. The store didn’t have this brand and I had to get another, that was more expensive. The smell was bad…I love cats but I cannot stand litter smells. (Who can?) Fresh Step is the only one that hides litter smells. I won’t go without it again!

Masks smells very well – but tends to spill
My main issue with this is that it’s hard to pour since it’s just got a normal box top. I wish there was a perforated tab I could pull, or a drawer-style dispenser like they put on baking soda containers sometimes. I’ll be buying a differently-packaged version on the future, but I’ll still buy Fresh Step because it’s very effective. I have a Litter Robot 3, and it works well in there with the odor trap.Spilling litter really is frustrating.

Great Cat Litter, But Highly Scented
I love this litter! It smells divine and keeps the “gifts” my kitties leave me from stinking up the whole house. My one caveat – this litter should be mixed into plain, unscented litter (1 part this, 3-4 unscented litter) as the fragrance can be overwhelming if you fill the box with just this.

My human does a good job
The human man changes the litter each week. The litter feels good under my laws and I can bury my poo easily. The small human also says the scent smells good. My only wish is that he’d change the litter more often.
