My Dog is happy
I was not happy to see that the actual box of treats looked like it had been previously opened. It wasn’t taped up very neat (like it comes from the factory). I pray nothing is wrong with the biscuits. I will say that my dog loves them. So for that I say thanks.

I bought these for Teddy, the little 5 pound cutie that runs around my house driving us nuts. He’s 13 now, but when he was much younger, I bought these for him many times. He loved them! I kind of forgot about them, and came across them while browsing on Amazon one night. I decided to buy them, and thought he would be happy. I should have know better, as he is the pickiest little thing, and most of the things I buy he ends up not liking. (At least now my son has a little dog who likes and appreciates everything, so she gets everything I buy that he won’t eat or use.) So these treats arrived, and I gave one to Teddy, and he sniffed it and walked away. Since that first try, if I try and give him one, he will sniff it and not take it from my hand. If I put it on the floor, he just looks at me with hope, that I will give him something better. If I leave it on the floor, eventually he will eat it. Eventually. So he doesn’t HATE them, but he sure isn’t a big fan. But as I said, he used to love them, so I don’t think they are a bad treat. He’s just gotten pickier. The size of the treat is great, perfect for small dogs. They are nice and crunchy, but not too hard. They smell good, nice and peanut buttery. I think Teddy’s just getting a bit crabbier in his old age. He’s still really cute though, so we just pretend we don’t notice. And keep buying him new treats, trying to find something he likes. You have to, right?

The best for my schnauzer
My schnauzer has sensitive stomach and I have to be careful what she eats. This amazing cookies are the best for her! She loves them and doesn’t cause any stomach issue. The size is perfect and the bone shape is cute

This is a great value! I have two dogs, one of them refuses to eat them, the other dog loves them, he eats everything though. I did not try them myself so I can’t tell you how the flavor is. I am not sure if I will buy them again.

I love the small size treat for my 2 dogs. They love getting treats and my husband was over feeding them with larger bones before I came across these small p❤nuttier treats. Purchase the Large Box for Cost Savings over Smaller Retail Packages! Great Product; Dogs Love Them!
Well I don’t taste these myself, but my dogs have never refused to eat them! The bulk package is the way to go since these quality biscuits are quite expensive when bought retail in smaller packages! These are packed in a plastic bag inside a heavy duty box, however the bag is not tied closed before they leave the plant. That is my sole dislike of the product! I always open the box upon delivery and tie the plastic bag closed to maintain freshness and keep insects out while in storage! If you want to maintain the best freshness and keep out infesting pests, get a large Vittle Vault container to store the biscuits, although they do very well stored inside the original plastic bag if you cant get other storage options! I have always bought the variety flavor pack and I have bought the large biscuits in a 20lb box too! I can’t comment on the other flavor choices. I go through them fast since I have large dogs and they love munching these treats! Very crunchy, dry biscuits so always provide plenty of water with the treats! I found these treats are popular with any dog. I have offered them to strangers’ dogs and never had one refused, but you may have mixed results if the dog dislikes hard foods due to dental issues or chewing trouble! So glad they come in bulk packages through Amazon! Worth the price in my opinion!

I ordered these to avoid having to go to my local pet store repeatedly for the small bag. They love Mother Hubbard treats. My oldest loves the chartar flavor especially. I took one star off because while they arrived in a neatly taped large box, the plastic bag inside was open and not sealed.

Absolute hit with the doggos, ingredient list is mostly natural (some preservatives). These biscuits are not soft biscuits, but hard biscuits–which again, my dogs love–so if you’re looking for soft chew biscuits, these aren’t what you’re looking for. If you don’t mind hard biscuits, which seem to help with cleaning the teeth of the dogs, then these might work for your dog. Also: the mini biscuits are very small, so if you have a small dog, get the small size. My two labs get the large sized.

this is a great product, my dog loves them, and it comes at a great price, especially if you buy in bulk. I particularly love the ability to buy in 6 lbs bulk. However, the 6 lb box option is rather limited. I hope they expand the option choices for 6 lbs boxes.

Poor Packaging
Items as described, well within expiration dates, & received in 2 days. That’s the good news. HOWEVER, the heavier bag of dog food was on TOP of the lighter, more fragile bag of dog biscuits. NOT COOL!!! It will be a week or so before I need to open the biscuits. From the small window on the package I don’t see any broken biscuits, but the bag looks pretty beat up so I’m expecting to find broken biscuits. If so, I will NOT be happy. I’ve used these items for years (second time ordering the food from Amazon, first time for the biscuits). 5 stars on the items, love them for my dog, but overall 4 stars for poor packaging. I realize your fulfillment centers move at a fast & furious pace, but placing heavier items on the bottom is common sense in my opinion.

This is such a great value for quality ingredients.It’s so difficult to find dog treats that aren’t loaded with unnecessary junk.My German shepherd & Boston terrier are not terribly picky, but they didn’t care for these. On the first try they spit them out, before going in for a second try and finally finishing it. They definitely prefer their other treats, maybe just because they’re softer.I gifted these to my parents’ pit bull and he LOVED them! Turned out to be a great Christmas gift for him, so it all worked out.

I accidentally wrote my review for this one under the other flavor, Peanut Butter and Nanners. After tasting the peanut butter flavor my furbaby wouldn’t eat the banana flavor anymore, but my neighbor’s dog liked it so I gave them to her. I can’t give this a bad review because it’s an affordable and healthy treat that actually helps maintain clean teeth and breath.

Those treats were a huge success at home !Fun fact, it was supposed to be a Christmas present for my dog. So I wrapped it and put under the Christmas tree. One day when he was alone I home, he found it (probably smelt it) and open the package by himself.We came back home and found an EMPTY pack. He ate ALL of it !

I have now ordered this at least three times.It’s a lot more expensive than the equivalent weight of, say, MilkBones or Ol’ Roy, but I suspect if you’re looking at this brand you understand why and you’re not one who was feeding your dog Ol’Roy anyway.(No, that’s not brand snobbery. Sam’s Choice bottled water is my second favorite. It’s just logic. You can’t fill a bag with forty pounds of ‘real’ meat, whole vegetables, etc and retail it for fifteen dollars. You can’t. Some expensive foods/treats have worthless ingredients too, but this is one category where the reverse is not also sometimes true, sadly).My now-gone dogs were eating this company’s food, Wellness, in the early 2000’s, well before the ‘natural’ dog food category took off. It DID make a substantial difference and they had to eat substantially less of it.These biscuits, alas, do not produce the same economics. The dogs would eat as many as I care to toss at them. And they’re sized funny. We get ‘small’. My dogs are 66,70, and 88-90 pounds. But ‘large’ is HUGE. The large ones are like, the size of a full Snickers bar and hard enough to hurt someone with. They actually had difficulty eating them, and two are pit bulls (mighty locking jaws?no.)If you have a VERY big dog or you only want to hassle with giving one biscuit, yeah, large.The ‘mini’ are like the size of training treats. Ugh. So the ‘small’ are right for us. They are…maybe an inch & a half long? Approximately half inch thick? So I can give several and they are crunched up more readily.If you’re wondering about the ‘charcoal’ flavor, the dogs accept them like any other, and I like the breath-freshener and tummy-settling properties enough that we specifically order the charcoal separately as well to have more on hand.The only negatives are that yes, it’s a lot of money for dog biscuits, and the last box sure did have a lot of fragments. I don’t mean like the corners of biscuits were broken off, I mean BROKEN. Chips and ‘splinters’ of ex-biscuits everywhere.It’s DEFINITELY too expensive for that kind of BS, Amazon.Please up your game for this item as far as storage and handling goes, or get on Old Mother Hubbard to do it on their end.Otherwise they’d get five stars, price be da****, and I will continue to buy, unless I keep getting boxes of pieces.

Peanut butte bones
My dog doesn’t like them as much as the milk bones. They have been fine for me but she would rather have the smaller bones. She is a Huge German Shepard. It is a game in her crate to find what she wants to eat and pick them out of the crate. I like that they are big. I don’t know the taste because I am not going to try them.

Our little Terrier mix likes these but he got diarrhea from them, I think because they went bad. We started freezing and refrigerating them to keep them fresh and all is good now.

“Wanna Treat?”
Our 10 year old Shh Tzu loves these!!! Here is how he finagles us out of one (or two). He is sitting in the living room thinking “a treat would be nice” So he knows to go to the door and whine like he wants to go outside. We go out into our fenced in backyard where we play and he you know what’s and then…he waits until I am tired and ready to go in. Then he sits… and stairs at me…. “Come on Buddy let’s go inside”….nothing… he waits for the magic words… “Wanna treat?” Then he runs to the back door with me. Mission accomplished! I think he’s got me trained good.

Dogs like them, so i based the flavor on that, as i didn’t feel up to sampling them myself. i like that they’re not made in China. I bought the wrong size, small instead of mini, but they’re not that hard to break up. The mini is perfectly sized for small dogs.

Dog loves these LARGE size treats, peanut butter, old mother Hubbard, however the treats were very fractured broken in small/tiny pieces, and pulverized to powder in the bottom of the bag. 20 lbs. box.may be my last order if this continues.

A real hassle trying to break these large ones up for my 60 lb dog. Saw the mini size in store and bought them but way too small. Ended up getting the small size on Amazon but doubt I will order again since the price per ounce is more than twice rhe cost of the large ones. Even the 20 lb box of small ones are still alot more expensive per ounce than the large ones. (Note: the ad for the 20 lb box says they are small but the image of the box says “mini”. Their marketing people need to get their act together.) Doubt I’ll buy these anymore since the large size is too big and small size too expensive.

I purchased the 20lb Large Dog bones in Original Assortment.I have a husky and a lab mix. Only my husky likes eating this, and it keeps her entertained for a little while. My lab mix doesn’t like it, but then again, she really has a nose and taste for only real meat. So it’s hard to please her.Anyways, we like the assortment one. It’s so my husky doesn’t get tired of it too easily. We can reach in the box and give her a brown one today, then a black one the next. They taste somewhat different. Well, my husky seems to be a fan of it. I’ve been buying this for almost 2 years already.I also loved the original purchase price, which had originally been quite reasonable – although still pricy. So the only real thing I have to complain about this is the incredible price increase! :(. It’s a 55% increase! WOW!

I buy these to handout treat bags at dog rescue events. There are a few broken bones at the bottom that my dog enjoys! I feel like the quantity of bones is more than anticipated in the box.

Healthy snack
I am giving these a 4 star only because of my black lab. I ordered them for her because I do like to give her healthy treats. However, they are not her favorite go to snacks/treats. She would rather have something else. But these dog biscuits are wholesome, crunchy and contain no artificial preservatives. So, I feel better giving my lab healthy snacks instead of the less expensive ones that are loaded with bad ingredients. I noted a lot of the reviewers thought they were too small. I have a full size lab and I think they are perfect in size. I only give these to her for snacks anyway. It makes a nice small snack through the day. I say they are not her favorite because she thinks she’s human and likes to sneak oreo’s and bread when I am not looking. However, I like to give her baby carrots and organic snacks. They make great training biscuits too when I teach her new tricks. They are very reasonably priced. Package arrived on time and only a few of the biscuits were broken. All in all I like and I will order again.

why is plastic bag open?
I am happy with the large quantity box of dog treats (I use the mini’s for lab & wheaten), the price is good. I have purchased from a few different sellers in the past. But with this purchase I cannot understand why the inner plastic bag is opened, like not even an attempt of closure. There were no bugs nor broken pieces. The box was securely taped closed. Just odd.

This is a great price and an awesome product. My dog loves these treats, but they tend to be expensive in pet stores. I love that Amazon offers them in bulk. I wish they were packaged/wrapped better, but quickly solved this issue by putting the treats in gallon sized zip lock bags. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

I volunteer at an animal shelter and always make sure my pockets are full of treats when I go. All but 1 dog so far has loved these treats, I think he does like peanut butter. Will buy again

These treats are a nice size and are soft. My dogs are various ages and a few are missing teeth now. But they can enjoy these treats because they aren’t too hard. I like them because the price is great and they don’t smell yucky to me. We have set up a subscription to keep them coming every month. Try them for your fur babies!

Was really hoping these were special. The dogs are iffy on these. Somedays they take them; other times just turn their noses up. Don’t know whether to buy them again if they don’t really care one way or another. I’m really looking for one the all like a lot.

I’ve ordered 7 boxes so far. Dorkbutt loves them. If I find a broken one when I’m digging my hand in, I sometimes chew on it while she stares at me with a look of utter shock and betrayal.

My dog is weird
If I simply try to hand this to my dog, she’ll push it with her nose and won’t take it. But if I stick one in a Kong toy she won’t leave it alone until it’s gone. My last dog loved these so I’m not really sure how many stars to rate these.

My dogs loved it but it took them a couple of these to get used to them, after they got used to them they were addicted and they definitely loved these, they ran out after 2 months so in my book the amount they gave was great! Definitely more than I assumed would be in it, the only sucky thing is that when you get to the bottom of the box that a few will be broken but you can just sprinkle that over their dog food and your dog will still love it

My dogs love these treats. I highly recommend them for training and general good behavior. The reason I only gave this review 4-stars is due to the fact that many of the mini treats arrive broken, when I get them from Amazon. The broken pieces are still good and usable, but the fact that Amazon’s packing of these treats always results in many of the mini treats arriving broken irks me.

My dog is on a grain free diet due to allergies. So along with his regular food, I wanted grain free treats for him also, and these have been perfect. Granted they are a little pricey for the quantity you receive but my dog loves them. And let’s face it, that’s what matters in the end.

There’s no way these are “small”, but my dogs go nuts for them
They’re HUGE. The size of a regular milkbone, about 2″. My 50 and 70 pound dogs have to give a few bites to get through one biscuit and honesty we’ve started breaking them in halves- they still chew their half. I was expecting something very small I could give once a day as a special reward; if you have a dog under 45 pounds or so, these will be too big. But they love the taste and beg for their once daily cookie so we’re happy with the purchase

My very picky dog LOVES these!
I have a very picky Yorkie who won’t eat milk bones. Old Mother Hubbard treats are awesome. My dog grabs it and runs to her crate to protect it while she eats it. Then she begs for more. She always turns up her nose at other types of “milk” bones. So I’m delighted that Sasha loves these. And they have healthy ingredients.

Wish there were more flavors and/or smaller size biscuits for my Jack Chi. Sometimes they are hard to find too. Buster loves ’em and they do seem to help with plaque a bit too. Recommend!

Great But Gassy!
I had bought this brand for my dogs many years ago, so was familiar with these treats. Recently, the supply chain was interrupted on the biscuits I normally buy for my dogs, so I bought these. The quality hasn’t changed and the dogs absolutely love them, but they do cause my dogs to be very gassy! I suspect it’s the egg product in them.When their normal biscuits are available again, I will switch back and just use these as an occasional treat. The only other con I found was the small-size biscuit is equivalent to a medium or average in other brands. The mini-size ended up being perfect for my older dogs with worn teeth.

dogs love them, but then again they love all treats. i have been burned in the past from treats being really medium sized when they say small, so it was a surprise that these are really mini small. think .5in. my dogs wt ranges from 14-22 so this size is too small. according to my dogs you need a handful to get the full benefit of a treat lol. i may get more at the medium size in order to get the tartar removal action of them crunching down on the treat. too small they just gulp em. price is decent for amt you get
