Not for sensitive skin or colored towels
Definitely among the more harsh cleansers out there, but it worked quite well. It would leave my skin a bit irritated and dry, but helped with oily skin quite a bit. It also smells pretty rough, very chemically, but that is to be expected. I noticed it had a bleaching effect on my towels, if that tells you anything about how strong this stuff is.Despite all of the negative thoughts on the harshness I’d still give it 4 stars, i bought it for the strength so I shouldn’t really expect it to smell great or be kind to my skin right?

I started using this after Clean and Clear discontinued their version and I am really happy with this product. I can’t give it a total 5 stars because I still need other active ingredients to help fight my acne but my skin is still clear after switching from C+C. Scent is usual for a benzol peroxide wash and if you have sensitive skin like me you might want to invest in a heavier moisturizer.

Improved skin, hasn’t quite cleared up EVERYTHING
I have super sensitive skin and tend to have acne on my back/chest.My routine with the cream is as follows: wet back, apply cream across affected areas, let sit for 10+ minutes, rinse off in shower. This allows the medicine to sit on the skin and really work into the problem areas, rather than rinsing it off immediately in the shower. I haven’t had any reactions/dryness/itchiness even with the extended usage.My acne has definitely improved, but I don’t want to give anyone unreasonable expectations. I still have acne on the back, but it is much less inflamed and frequent than before use.The smell is slightly medicinal, as is to be expected. It doesn’t last on the skin, though. Once you rinse, the smell dissipates completely.Overall, I’d say that it does its job, but it isn’t a miracle worker. You’ll probably still have to figure out the source of your body acne to really remove it all. In the meantime, however, this will soothe some of the inflammation and reduce the number of spots.

Not suitable for sensitive skin
I have a very sensitive skin. This product didn’t suit my skin. It was too harsh for my skin. After using it for a week, I started to have some pimples. Next time, I will try the 4% one.

OK replacement for discontinued Rapid Clear
Like many, I have been searching for a replacement for the discontinued Neutrogena Rapid Clear face wash. This one is as close to it as I have been able to find after going through around 15 others. The only difference is this is more watery than Rapid Clear but it doesn’t dry your skin out like Rapid Clear did if you used too much. You will run out of this quicker than Rapid Clear because of how watery it is. But it’s better than anything else out there.

I added Panoxyl to my daily skincare routine. I was already using skincare products prescribed by my dermatologist but for some reason I was having a breakout on my chin and jawline that just did not seem to go away. I included Panoxyl as my nighttime face wash and in one week my breakout was under control…not was pimple could be found. I will continue to use. If you have not tried this face wash then do so now.I lather it onto my wet face and massage it all over for a few minutes and then jump into the shower with it still on. After taking care of my body, I give it a little massage again and wash it off.

I never really had bad acne but a few months ago I started getting 1 or 2 deep under the skin pimples that wouldn’t surface in the same area of my cheek- couldn’t pop since they never turned to a white head and too deep to squeeze. Really painful. Got to the point i picked so much because i was desperate to get it out and it scarred…. When they started coming back again about a month ago i got this and it’s really helping. It doesn’t work over night- maybe for surface whiteheads but for deep under the skin pimples it will take some time. I used once a day for three days. It did dry out my skin so i applied a light moisturizer afterward. The swelling and pain went away after the first night of using it. I started using twice a day after that and they are just about gone. I rinse with warm water, wash with dove soap, dab until my face is damp/ half wet with a clean towel. Massage this on my damp face and let sit for 5 mins. You can feel relief while it sits on your face. Then rinse really well with warm water to clean it off. ..It’s been just about a month since i ordered it. But no scarring or scabbing and no desire to pick since they aren’t painful and inflamed anymore. Best product in terms of results so far I’ve used. Def buying more again but probably won’t need to for a while. You get a good amount in the bottle- seems to last longer than expected. Def a good purchase for acne.

Works – slightly drying but worth it –
I like using this but I don’t like the package. The tube seems hard to squeeze for no reason when there is still plenty of product in it. I think it’s due to the size of the end/cap. A smaller circle would have been fine but since this is so large, squeezing the sides to get the product out is more difficult. I basically have to flatten the back down and press toward the center of the cap.A smaller cap or a pump might have been better.Annoying but not a big problem.

Conflicting name, but it does work against acne
I have acne-prone skin and very oily skin around my forehead and chin. I’ve mostly used salicylic acid to help control my acne, but lately, I’ve been more stressed and my acne has gotten out of control. I finally broke down and give this a try, I know benzoyl peroxide is stronger, so I had to use it sparingly at first. I used it once every two weeks, but it was still extremely drying on my skin and I had very dry and itchy spots. I had to switch from my regular lotion to a cream moisturizer and that definitely help. It took about a month for my face to get used to the benzoyl peroxide for me to make it a weekly routine. I did notice an improvement on my face. I sometimes get a pimple or two on my back and chest and use this on there too. It only takes a day for me to notice the pimple drying out and slowly deflating the following day. Nowadays, I used this once a week and every 2-3 days if a pimple appears.So if you have sensitive skin, this might not be the best product to use. Or if you still want to try it, then start off slow and prepare for drying skin peeling.Only weird thing is that there is minimal foaming not what I would have thought when I bought this product. I thought there might be something wrong when I first used it, but looking at some of the reviews shows that it is intentional.

I rub it onto my underarms and leave for a few minutes while I shampoo my hair, then I just shower as normal.Cons: my green bathmat outside the shower has a ton of bleach splotches. It hasn’t harmed any of my towels or clothing though.

Slightly strong smell, but gentle
I’ve always found benzoyl peroxide to strip my skin barrier and be very drying, but this formulation is lovely. It doesn’t cause any irritation, it’s gentle and hydrating. I’m really happy with this cleanser and looking forward to seeing the effects on my skin, especially on my acne.

Good product , but bleaches towels/washcloths.
Dermatologist suggested this for my son and works well for his facial acne, but it bleaches the towels so use a white towel or wash cloth while using.I was told this could happen so not surprising.

where has this been all my life???
i’ve tried so many different facial washes, creams, gels, wipes, etc and NONE of them have given me such good results. be sure to read the directions for optional results. i’ve been using this for no more than 2 weeks now and my skin is almost completely cleared. this combined with the snail mucin is PERFECT. it can be a bit drying but a light moisturizer does the trick. i would highly recommend this for my rosacea lovelies and my girlies with bumpy skin because it really does do the job!!

Good, but not for my needs
I’ve had folliculitis on my legs ever since I went into the hot tub at a 24hr fitness. I got this because it said it has 10% peroxide. Peroxide is something that is supposed to kill the bacteria. I used it as directed, but it never worked to clear it up. I began using drugstore 3% bottled peroxide with cotton pads, and that worked MUCH better for me. In fact, cleared up nearly all of it within a week. Now as for what I liked, or more like my gf liked. It helped clean up her face and minimize some of the acne on her face fairly quickly. I can’t hate the product because I expected it to work for the folliculitis, but at least it works on the face well enough. I split the difference and gave it a 4star instead of a neutral rating.

The tube is so NOT user friendly. My tube is half full and it is so hard to squeeze even a tiny bit out. The design is the sole reason I will not buy another tube. There are other options that are way easier to use.Also please don’t use these near your eyes or on your eyelids. Not needed there and very irritating!Finally, PSA: the instructions say the cream needs ***1-2 minutes*** contact with affected areas! if it’s not working, try that

I like it but…
I could see a difference in my skin after a week or so of using it. I wish it was more of a foam consistency but nonetheless it does the job. The only thing I don’t like about this product is that I can actually taste this stuff as soon as I start applying it to my face. Yuk! I have to use mouthwash while using it so that the taste doesn’t linger in my mouth. Other than that it’s a really good product.

Accutane in a tube
I originally bought this because we changed our insurance and I couldn’t get my accutane, but I haven’t needed to go back on! This stuff works as good as a low dose, and for me, worked best when I applied and let it sit on my skin for a minute or two. I’m finishing my first tube, and I’m very impressed, it didn’t clear my face 100%, but my acne is very minimal, and I only have a few spots on my forehead and nose, I haven’t had any pimples in a month!

Doesn’t come out foamy or foam easily if you try to lather it with water. It’s unexpectedly heavy, like a cream or lotion, and if you don’t try to lather or foam it before putting it on your face, then it’s like trying to wash your face with a thick lotion. It doesn’t have a scent or create more issues for my sensitive skin, so that’s a plus, but it’s not foamy or capable of making a good foam as advertised and the main reason I bought it. It’s not improving anything for me after a few weeks use, but it’s also not making things worse so…

Works like a charm!
I’ve had this product for the past couple months, and I would recommend to wash to this a minimal on the face as it does dry the skin very easily due to the benzoyl peroxide. I have oily-sensitive skin by the way. It’s been treating my body acne pretty well though! Noticing the changes and fading of my acne. Does have a weird smell but it’s tolerable.Tips to using this product:-Just be sure to not overuse and use a small amount. Will have the chances of causing the skin to be a bit more sensitive (turn red, or stinging), if you switch from another product to this.-Have a moisturizer/body lotion to lock in the moisture of the skin so it will not dry out. I use gel moisturizers as they do work well for my skin type (as I mentioned above).Sorry if this is such as long review, but the longer you use and the more feedback/review you can give to other people who are looking into this face/body wash!

I’m not sure what to say because I haven’t used it consistently enough to know if it works wonders.I bought it because of the percentage of benzoyl peroxide and the reviews. I do believe that it is a good product. Although it is said to be unscented, it smells like typical benzoyl peroxide products- I don’t have an issue with this but some of you might not like this. It doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin. Overall, I’d buy it again. It seems more creamy than foaming though. Sometimes, I clean my face with another foaming wash first then I use it or I have to wash my face twice to feel a lather. I don’t know if my skin is oily and affects the foaming effect or if it is suppose to feel like a cream wash.

I made the mistake of using this as my sole facial wash, my face dried tremendously and as a result, the corner of my lips cracked. I recommend using this in the evening and perhaps a gentler one in the morning.Can’t really tell the difference if this does help kill acne though.

I’m a 37 year old male. I’ve never had horrible acne, but I get clogged pores easily and have oily skin. So summers are rough for my face.I always get the sporadic, red “under skin pimples”, and they make my skin look awful, not to mention, they’re painful too.Diet changes and more water didn’t help. I used every kind of face wash on the market.This face wash is the only thing that kills the red bump acne, while keeping my face hydrated. It doesn’t leave my skin dry either, which is a huge plus.There’s no real smell to it, so if you’re worried about that, it’s not an issue.It has the texture of a more runny sun tan lotion, making it easy to apply without being too thick.The product washes off easily, and definitely makes my skin feel amazing.If you’ve been having acne issues, definitely give this face wash a try! I absolutely love it.

I just started using this product, so I can’t speak yet to its power. So far, my skin seems to like its moisturizing abilities. I couple it with a moisturizing night cream with retinol at night and my skin looks moisturized and fresh in the morning. It has a bland scent, nothing to really speak about. THIS STUFF IS IT!!
I had did my research on this product after seeing videos of it on Instagram and decided to give it a try! First I used the 2% Benzoyl Peroxide creamy wash, and then I moved on to the 10%!! I highly recommend doing that if you are new to this product! You don’t want to dry your face out especially if you live in a dry climate like me! Go buy this! don’t wait!! It’s also cheaper than most cleansers!!!! ;))))

Okay, I won’t lie. This product did make my skin purge at first and I was ready to return it thinking it just didn’t work for me. However, I decided to give it a little longer of a chance and I’m so glad I did. My advice to anyone thinking about getting it is to do your research first on what other products you can mix with benzoyl peroxide that won’t make your skin burn. This isn’t just a one all, cure all. I use it in the shower a couple times a week when I do a hair mask or shave my legs, just put it on and let it do it’s thing for a little bit then rinse it off and follow up with a safe skin care after.

Update:While the product does not foam as the packaging says, it most certainly works. I have excessively oily skin that was prone to heats along my forhead. Since I started using this product, both the oiliness and heats have significantly reduced without overdrying the skin. Even my skin tone started to balance out.Original:I just started using a day or two so I can’t review effectiveness but it’s odorless so that’s a good sign for sensitive skin. However, unlike the packaging, this product is not a foaming wash and it does not lather well either. You’ll have to use it liberally. Very misleading packaging.

Please read. I had really bad acne on my neck, chest, shoulders and back. I even had some small break outs on my stomach and arms. Nothing worked, salicylic acid sprays, creams, body washes, pads. Nothing helped. Wanted to try something other then salicylic acid. Used this stuff for about 2 months until the bottle was empty with no change, turns out I’m probably allergic to peanuts. My mom is alergic and she said to stop eating peanut products and it cleared faster then this stuff did. My back has never looked better! This stuff worked great on my face tho when I’d get hormonal break outs!

Okay, I won’t lie. This product did make my skin purge at first and I was ready to return it thinking it just didn’t work for me. However, I decided to give it a little longer of a chance and I’m so glad I did. My advice to anyone thinking about getting it is to do your research first on what other products you can mix with benzoyl peroxide that won’t make your skin burn. This isn’t just a one all, cure all. I use it in the shower a couple times a week when I do a hair mask or shave my legs, just put it on and let it do it’s thing for a little bit then rinse it off and follow up with a safe skin care after.

Smells like a pool
It’s a good product, my skin looks great and benzol peroxide is my holy grail but I think a cream works a bit better for me than face wash.. (I have somewhat sensitive, dry skin)

I was telling my best friend one day that I use Neutrogena acne scrub for my facial wash, and that although it worked impeccably most of my life, it was no longer cutting it, and my pimples were beginning to resurface heavily around my chin and nose again. It’s funny because, I always think of a new place on my face where I’ve never had pimples, and then I start touching it thinking, wow, lucky me. Then a few weeks later or so, those little plump balls of red puss and irritation will grace its presence.In this way, manifesting, and the way one perceives themselves, is a very powerful thing indeed. Maybe if I genuinely tricked my mind into becoming Madison Beer, I would become her in most respects. Maybe if I tricked myself into having clearer skin, I’d stop touching it, eat healthier, wash my face three times a day with PanOxyl, and genuinely achieve this seemingly impossible dream. Or maybe I can just love myself right now, instead of glamorizing unrealistic standards I set for myself daily.

Great cleanser
I just started using Panoxyl in the last year or so and I love the way my face look and feel clean after using it. I have also bought the other products including the pimple patches as my weekly facial routine. The only thing I would say is that it does not foam up like I thought it would since it is a foaming cleanser but that is something that I am fine with. I definitely recommend this product! It is affordable and is an overall great product!

Me quedo sin saber qué decir al respecto. Se publicita como un limpiador espumoso, pero en mi caso, no hace absolutamente nada de espuma. Pero siento que cumple su función de limpiar. It will bleach your hair
Because acne also occurred into hair when washing face, I scrubbed past hairline. Third washing, hair was white. Would be better to use topical ointment on face and use the wash for back or chest area acne. Very drying and skin needs moisturizing afterwards. Be super careful where wash goes if using bath or shower – certain skin does not respond well!!!

Very Happy So Far
I bought this after reading the reviews… I am 30 years old and suffer from hormonal acne along my jaw line and down my neck. They’re typically deep cystic acne that takes FOREVER to come to a head and then leaves a red mark for weeks and weeks. I started using this product 3 days ago and my neck and chin have already started clearing up. All the red and painful breakouts are now smaller and no longer irritated and some of the ones still under the skin are starting to go away. I am going to buy another bottle for my boyfriend to use on his back and face and hopefully it helps him as well.Update: It’s been a week using it daily at night and my skin hasn’t been this clear in so long! So far I am extremely happy and will continue to purchase. I am going to try using it on my under arms like other reviews have said for excessive sweating. It does bleach towels btw! I use designated hand towels to dry my face off so doesn’t bother me but beware if you use your good towels it will bleach them.

it works but..
i have sensitive, oily and acne prone skin. i didnt do much research before buying and using this product on my face and regret it a little. the Benzoyl Peroxide is quite strong. the damage isn’t bad, nothing very noticeable but that may be bc i caught it early. ive only used it 3/4 times once a day and noticed itchy skin that became irritated and slightly red. my eyes also got a little puffy. the effects went away after abt an hour.POSITIVES: i had been struggling with small acne bumps around my forehead and the sides of my face and now my skin is smooth :)SOLUTION: im trying to use it 1/2 a week (if i remember right the instructions say to use once a day and work up to twice but everyones skin is unique and require different treatment)

this works well for me for the most part, but this is my third bottle that if I leave it standing upright (with cap facing down, as shown in the picture) the product leaks all out!!! they need to fix this. I lose a lot of product when this happens.

This actually works well for my type of skin. I really recommend this one. Excellent product that cleared up my skin in 2 days! It beat out all the other expensive meds I was prescribed or had to buy without scripts. It dries out skin eruptions which you can later moisturize. I put some of this product on a warm wash cloth and applied it all over my body, then let it dry naturally without removing the product. And the next day, my skin was clear. I am even using it for my scalp eruptions. Highly recommend.
