I like going to get my nails done, but I also hate it. The time, the money, the inconvenience..but I really like getting my cuticles and everything around my nail cleaned up and healthy.. so I bought a few things to do at home. It has been amazing!! On my fingernails and toenails!!! I let it sit on it about a minute and then I use my nails to gently scrape it off all around the nail bed (then wash it off) and especially on the toes it’s made them look like professional quality pedicure status! I will definitely order more when I get low!!

Not for me, but it’s definitely worth a try.
I’ve been using this product for about two months. This feels more like a cuticle softener than a remover. It works, but after doing my nails for some time I do not see much cuticle to remove anymore.If you’re doing more than yourself, its definitely worth the value. If it’s just for you, it’ll probably last a bit longer.I personally will not be repurchasing this for myself and will continued to use cuticle oil to soften my cuticles from here on.

Didn’t know this was a thing. Got it to try it as I’m almost always messing with my nails and cuticles, probably a weird little tick I have. Used this once so far, and I’m pretty impressed with it. Idk that I would buy this again because it just seems kinda “extra”, BUT it worked way better than I expected and was super easy to use. Made my cuticles kinda just mush off. Much easier than the little cuticle nippers and didn’t damage the mail at all.

Pretty nails for men too

I recently started doing my nails frequently, and gave this a try for prepping my cuticles. Very easy to apply and after 10 or so seconds I can push back/remove the cuticle leaving a clean nail surface. I did not experience any burning that I read about in other reviews, but I only put it on 2 fingers at a time. You only need a very small amount for each mail so I expect the bottle will last me a long time!

I gave it a 5 although I have not used it. The warnings on the box has me too scared to use it. Contains alkali which could cause blindness, do not use on sensitive skin, which I have. Do not leave on more than 1 minute, what if someone calls and I forget. Nope, not for me.

Sally Always Comes Through!
Like the majority of Sally Hansen products, it’s a staple in everyone’s manicure kit. The texture is perfect, it softens the cuticle for cutting or pushing back and if you’re like me (love cute containers,) the label isn’t obnoxiously big or bold on the bottle. I know, it’s silly but it’s true. I can’t detect much of a smell so, no worries there and for the price, you can’t do better! It’s perhaps my fifteenth bottle? A go to, each and every time. You can’t go wrong with this cuticle remover.

I have been using this cuticle remover for years. I wouldn’t say it quite melts your cuticles off. It softens them and makes them easy to remove. Along the bed of the nail, I push them back still with a wooden cuticle pusher. While not gone, they are dramatically better, and it’s much easier to use than any other product I’ve tried. Given the price and how fast it works, I would only switch to a product if my cuticles vanished immediately after using it.

It works, but it’s not as magical/effective as I expected. Definitely give it a few seconds to sink in before you begin to remove your cuticle. Definitely a good purchase if you’re starting to do your nails ay home rather than the salon.

Perfect (for me)
I purchased this item to go along with a gel kit purchased for myself for Christmas. I followed the directions as printed by placing a drop on each cuticle, setting for 15 seconds and pushing the cuticle with a cuticle tool that I already had. It worked like magic on my well overdue nails.I would highly recommend this product.

I use this when doing my own nails. I hate cutting and digging all in my cuticles but this stuff works great and you don’t have to do all that digging and cutting to see results. Just follow the instructions and you will be good.

I love this product! I put in on my cuticles and around the nail for 30 second then use a cuticle pusher to scrap off the dead skin. It gets the dead skin around the nail and takes off the cuticle without the change of cutting or damaging. Don’t have the expectation that it will look at good as a personal but it definitely gets the job done!

My cuticles tend to suffer when I’m stressed or anxious, and I often find myself picking at them. Despite regularly using cuticle oil and lotion, there are times when it seems ineffective. Even with routine manicures, the improvement is short-lived, and I end up back where I started within a couple of days. Out of sheer desperation, I decided to give this product a try, and the results are astonishing! It’s user-friendly, doesn’t cause any discomfort, but you might need a tool to gently push and clean the cuticles. I genuinely regret not taking before and after photos because the product works wonders. I wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it.

I was influenced by nail techs on Instagram to give this a go, and WOW. If you’re a nail care enthusiast, GET THIS! Sallys Hansen’s cuticle remover is easy to use and results are instant. A little goes a log way and it is very satisfying to press off all those yucky nail boogers. Give it a try!

I use this to help remove my cuticles before I prep my nails. It is effective to an extent, I personally think it could be stronger. I do like how you just need a small drop for it to work. I did get it at a heavily discounted price so I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for it, but it is a nice product.

It was almost perfect but the bottle came in half way??!!! Like the bottle is already small why is it filled halfway? 😒 other than that the product is amazing. Some of my clients have a lot of cuticles and this thing gets it off so quick. Leaves the skin soft and easy to remove with a cuticle pusher.

I absolutely love using this stuff to melt off my cuticles before painting my nails. It works better than any other chemical or physical method I’ve tried! So, when I saw it nearly 50% on cyber monday, I bought two (I would’ve bought more but this stuff lasts forever!). One thing that irked me though, is that Amazon sent the tiny bottles each in individual boxes. It seemed like a huge waste of packaging to me, especially since fitting both into one box would’ve been easily possible — heck you could fit probably 10 in one box! Please do better Amazon! I even chose the “fewer boxes” option at check out :/

This cuticle remover is fantastic. If you have poor looking cuticles this is the item to use. I do a lot of DIY stuff and my nail bed tends to have pieces of skin that poke out. I add a drop of the cuticle remover on them and within 1-2 days my cuticles are back to looking great! Well worth the buy!

Fast effects
This works very fast. Apply it to 2-3 fingers at once and then it will be soft enough to start trimming your dead skin right away. Don’t apply to all 5 because it may dry out by the time you start trimming your 4th or 5th finger.

If you are like me and stopped going to the nail spa to get gel nails or acyclic you have to get this. You apply it to your cuticles and push it back and all the dead cuticles will just come out. No need to cut the cuticles. Then your nails will be ready to apply your base coat, nail polish, and top coat. I’m only using the Sally brand.The base it’s amazing the colors and quality of the products are super good and the top coat dries the nail super fast. If you like me gave up on getting your nails done and spending a lot of money every two weeks the worst part is how damaged they get. Have fun and buy everything of Sally’s nail product sets and you will thank me 🫶

It worked just fine for me. I read some complaints but I think those have to do more with how your using it and your skin type. If it’s very hard and rough I doubt anything will fix that. Stop blaming the product. I’d say my skin type for my hands are between soft to medium rough. I take care of my hands yet am not afraid to get down and dirty with them. I used this product for 40 sec and then start pushing my cuticles back and cleaning out my nail. By 1 min I’ve usually roughly pushing and cleans my nails and then i dip them in warm water. After that I’ll take my time to properly clean my nails and scrap of any dead cuticles and skin. Once I feel they are clean enough I’ll take a dry cloth and use the cloth to wipe off and clean any left over junk on my nails. It works like a buffer. So far I like this product.

I do my own nails weekly, sometimes painting them with gel or ordinary polish, sometimes just clear polish.I love this, this is my second time using this product, its easy to use. You just apply it to the cuticle area, use a cuticle pusher after about 30 secs to scrape the dead skin, then wash hands, moisturize and cut off any excess cuticle dead skin as needed.My cuticles are faring pretty well these days and I will continue to get this.

I’m so surprised I haven’t found this before, I’m a big fan of the insta-dry polishes. This works very quickly, not too drippy and takes very little to do each nail. I let it sit for about as long as a commercial break, then when I pushed back my cuticles they just dissolved off. My hands have been pretty dry recently, that didn’t keep this from working well. It didn’t leave my fingertips with that “chemical” cracking or anything. Would definitely buy again!

I have seen this product everywhere, and I almost always have my nails done so I thought it would be good for me and my clients. Its a great pain free alternative to cutting off your cuticles, and I think it is healthier for your skin. It arrived only being about 3/4 of the way full though. I don’t know if that is how they all are made, or just mine.

This cuticle remover works well, just not on cuticles. I used this on my cuticles and got no results. It says you can also you the remover on calluses so I did. I also got nothing but I noticed my skin was very soft! I got my Ped Egg out and scrubbed the soft skin and the dry skin was gone in seconds. This remover doesn’t work well on its own but it’s a great helping hand for other products.

I’ve started doing my nails and my cuticles are very hard to smooth down. I came across this product and have heard great things about it. It doesn’t have a bad smell and only takes a couple seconds to remove the cuticle. The only problem I have is it doesn’t completely remove the skin so you’ll have to push your cuticle back a little

How am I just now finding this product?Highly recommend if you are tired of $$ spent at salon. Now I can do my nails at home without them cutting my skin and increasing risk of infection.

It works for me
I like it’s ease of use. I do use a stainless steel cuticle pusher with a little indent/cutter on the other end and it helps with cleaner cuticle removal. This product doesn’t feel drying while in use, but I do wash it right off after as directed.

It works pretty well, even after a couple of years
I’ve been using this product for years for cuticle and even callous remover. It works pretty well, even after a couple of years. I suggest soaking your fingers first in a manicure solution of some kind to soften the cuticles, and then clipping anything the remover might miss, but it does a good job without being too messy, and it DOES NOT BURN like some cuticle removers.

works to soften cuticles
Works well to soften cuticles so I can go in with a clipper tool and remove them. I found it takes a couple of minutes to really soften the cuticle, which is longer than the directions say, but once they’re soft it works great. If you’re doing your nails at home, it’s way more convenient to use this any time vs. have to quickly push and remove cuticles when they’re soft from being in the shower.

Exactly as advertised. Softens the cuticle for easy maintenance.

Gets the job done, but slimey
This is great value for money and works fast to get your cuticles out. You’ll need a tool to use alongside it. The only downside for me is the texture is very slimey and made my cuticles slightly irritated.

Be careful!
Works very well, but on first use, the cap was either clogged or not pierced all the way through. With one little squeeze, it popped open and 2/3 of the bottle exploded on my face and clothes, also hitting my one year old who was standing nearby. Luckily nothing got in anyone’s eyes. Check the cap before trying to use!
